What is December all about? For some, it’s the festive Christmas and New Year spirit and the joy of gift hunting. For others, it’s delicious food prepared in the warm circle of family and friends. Or a season filled with carols, vertep, and shchedrivky.
At NIBULON, we can’t imagine December without celebrating Christmas together with our colleagues. For two years in a row, NIBULON employees have brought to life one of the oldest Christmas rituals still preserved today and traditionally performed on Shchedryi Vechir – the «Kozа» ritual (goat leading ritual). This year, they took it a step further by «traveling the world» and sharing Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage with other nations.
NIBULON’s Cossacks and Cossack lady visited England, Germany, Norway, the sunny lands of Egypt, and the UAE, and even sailed all the way to the USA! There, they performed shchedrivky, danced the hopak, and shared stories about Ukraine’s fertile lands and the strong spirit of Ukrainian farmers. At the end of the evening, everyone came together to sing the beloved and world-famous Ukrainian «Shchedryk»!
Evenings like these are about unity, warmth, and faith in a brighter future. We truly value them – and the people beside us.
