According to Roman Chumachenko, the director of “Voznesens’ka” branch, the terminal receives wheat and barley yield that corresponds to II-III classes from NIBULON’s branches, as well as from farms of different districts of Mykolayiv region, in particular from Voznesensk, Bratske, Vradiyivka, Veselynove, Domanivka, and Pervomaysk districts.
Agrarians from Mykolayiv region have already experienced the advantages from cooperation with this terminal. The agricultural producers can use their vehicles more efficiently owing to the fact that the distance of grain transportation is shortened. The agrarians can transport the harvest using fewer trucks. There is much to gain from it because the expenses for transportation have recently risen by 30 %.
The drivers who bring grain to “Voznesens’ka” branch are also satisfied with the new transshipment terminal. They note that the unloading process is very fast and fully automated. Therefore, they shouldn’t waste their time in queues. Moreover, due to terminal’s close location to farms, drivers can make 3-4 trips per day.
As soon as dredging operations on the Southern Bug River in the area of “Voznesens’ka” branch are finished, the production branch will start grain transportation from Voznesensk to Mykolayiv by water. This in turn will reduce traffic loading on highways of the region. So, the transshipment terminal and the similar one in Nova Odesa district allow removing up to million tons of cargoes per year from highways of the region. Thus, both agricultural producers and average citizens of Mykolayiv and its region will benefit.
It is worth reminding that the newly built terminal started receipt of grain from agricultural producers at the beginning of July. We invite agrarians from Mykolayiv and Kirovohrad regions to cooperation. To find information on purchase prices visit NIBULON’s official website, section Purchase prices.
