On July 3, four trucks from “Lidiyivs’ke” branch arrived at the territory of the production branch, passed registration, moved to the weighing station and proceeded to unloading.
“I’m the happiest person today, because we put one more facility into operation. While building this high-tech terminal we had been taking our previous experience into account. The high-tech terminal was being built under complicated weather conditions. Thus, the building process was accompanied by plentiful precipitation. For comparison: if it was snow precipitation, the snow cover would reach 15 meters height. Rain precipitation was being replaced by heat. Only true patriots could build the transshipment terminal in 100 days. Our company hasn’t built any facility in such a short period and under such circumstances yet”, noted NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
It is known that a large number of elevator constructions are being built within Ukraine, but our company isn’t afraid of competition. NIBULON has a range of such competitive advantages as fully automated elevator complexes close to agricultural producers, modern cargo fleet for grain transportation along inland waterways, well developed logistics system, etc.
“Competition doesn’t frighten us. The company has a strategy of development. Moreover, Ukraine has a potential of gross yield at the level of 80-100 million tons of grain annually. The country requires 25 million tons for domestic needs and plans to export 39 million tons. The numbers can grow up to 60-70 million tons. We have to bring such an amount of grain from fields, process and ship it. We are convinced that expansion of export gives long-term perspectives both for our company and for Ukraine. A lot of issues will depend on quality of reforms. We can export up to 8 million tons annually, taking into account that our business rivals will catch up with approximate volumes. Besides that, nobody, except NIBULON, performs river transportation. During this period, we have built modern cargo fleet and have created our own system of logistics. We see potential for the next 10 years. Ukraine has more than 4 thousand grain exporters. Our country has the most competitive grain market in the world. Despite this, NIBULON has been maintaining its leadership for more than 10 years. Thus, NIBULON group exported about 4,56 million tons of grain in the previous marketing year. It is the second figure in agricultural commodity exports for 25 years of our activity”, noted Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
It should be remembered, that NIBULON is not only one of the leading investors and exporters in Ukraine but also commodities producer. According to company’s statistics that has been keeping for 23 years, crop yield of the company’s branches is three times higher than average rate within Ukraine. While making projection of grain gross yield, our specialists use vast satellite and programming tool sets that are given by companies that cooperate with NATO and USDA. These programs help us to define whether there is a threat of drought, insufficient humidity or possible problems with sowing.
Agrarians from north of Mykolayiv and south of Kirovohrad regions waited for opening of the transshipment terminal near Voznesensk. They will have obvious advantages. First of all, they will get more attractive price. Secondly, the agricultural producers will use their vehicles effectively. They will shorten the distance of agricultural commodities transportation as there is no need to transport their products to ports of Mykolayiv and Odesa. Thereafter, the number of trucks for grain transportation will be reduced.
“Local agrarians will get more attractive price and shorten their expenses on grain transportation. For example, if we plan to receive 0,5 million tons of grain over this marketing year, then the producers, who cooperate with us, will get about UAH 10 million of extra profit and can use it for salary payment, purchase of fuels and lubricants materials, purchase of new machines. It will help them to use productive capacities more effectively. Besides that, the branch near Voznesensk and the similar one in Nova Odesa town allow removing up to million trucks per year from highways of the region. Thus, both agricultural producers and average citizens of Mykolayiv and its region will benefit”, added Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
So, all agricultural producers, who are interested in cooperation with our company, will deliver their yield to this terminal. There is a simplified system of agreement signing or its renewal for our constant suppliers. New partners are supposed to go through verification of their services’ transparency and legality of grain receipt.
In general, the company prefers cooperating with direct agricultural producers, but there are producers who have no their own vehicles to transport yield to the terminal. At present, there are more than 5 thousand producers, but only minor part of them has their own vehicles. All the others deal with cultivating of yield, but do not transport or sell it. In such cases the company proposes its services in grain transportation from agricultural producers.
As for suppliers, we have a list of requirements for them. A supplier should be a first-hand buyer of grain from agricultural producer who paid via cashless payment system for the commodity, and should have supporting documents about grain origin.  We don’t cooperate with dishonest suppliers who pay in cash.
The information about purchase prices of the newly built branch has been published in the section Purchase prices on NIBULON’s official website. The receipt of grain from agricultural producers will start on July 6.
Meanwhile, the company has already started river transportation of new yield from transshipment terminal of “Novoodes’ka” branch. 
“We have shipped 8 non-self-propelled vessels from Nova Odesa. The company will finish dredging works on the Southern Bug River in 2 weeks and we’ll start transporting grain from Voznesensk to Mykolayiv. During the period of the Soviet Union the maximum grain cargo that had been transported along this river comprised 50 thousand tons. We can reach this figure in a few months. Please note that not only grain can be transported by waterways but building materials (sand, road metal etc.) as well”, noted Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. 
Summarizing the above-mentioned information, the terminal’s commission was successful and the branch is ready for grain receipt from agricultural producers. The branch will work 24 hours without days off and holidays, as well as other production branches.
