That day everyone had an opportunity to visit the shipyard and observe its production capacities.
During an open day the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON” was visited by several hundreds of people who received evidence that the agrarian company is reviving Ukraine’s shipbuilding sector!
The whole families came to our shipyard to see how the agrarian fleet is built. According to the guests, they decided to take their children because this event has historical value for Mykolayiv city, and little citizens must be witnesses of the shipbuilding revival in their native city.
Launching, as well as building, was held at the company’s own shipyard, the former shipyard “Lyman” which assets and property complex were purchased by NIBULON in 2012. Among the guests there were the former workers from the shipyard “Lyman” and from other shipyards of the city. Thus, Andriy Shynkarenko, a representative of a dynasty of shipbuilders, told us that his first workplace had been at this shipyard, “My grandfather devoted his life to this shipyard. I am impressed: the shipyard has changed, it works; Mykolayiv city is a city of shipbuilders”.
Andriy, a pupil of Mykolayiv marine college, came to see launching together with his father, “For the first time in my life I saw a vessel’s launching, and it is very interesting! I will tell my friends and classmates about it. I connect my future with shipbuilding. That is why I am pleased that this sector will exist due to NIBULON”.
Svitlana Trochenko visited the event together with her family, “I have visited such an event for the first time, and I liked it very much. It is a huge achievement for our city and country in whole”.
