On July 26, in the morning, the vessel left the shipyard’s quay, passed the Bug-Dnipro-LymanCanal and started the specified maneuvers having entered navigation pass. During sea trials there were tested operation modes of the vessel and also engines, shaft, propellers, auxiliaries, equipment, engine room pipelines, maneuverability of the vessel. The vessel’s mooring by using stern and bow anchors was also tested.
Sea trials were performed under strict supervision of the representatives of contractors (Mitsubishi, Berg and others) as well as representatives of the Shipping Register of Ukraine.
At present inspection of gears and completion of finishing and painting works are being continued. Within the next few days these works will be completed, and the tug will have the appropriate class of the Shipping Register of Ukraine.
We would remind you that the vessel’s construction started on November 22, 2013, when the first 19 tons of rolled metal were delivered to Mykolayiv city and were used to assemble the base section No.2001. An agreement for cutting and processing of metal was signed with Kyiv plant “Leninska Kuznya”.
