In particular, the shipbuilders have finished sluicing of fuel consumption system; together with a service engineer of the contractor “Volvo-Penta” there have been performed preparatory operations and start up of the auxiliary and emergency diesel-generators. At present loading tests of the diesel-generators are being approved by the customer’s representatives and the Shipping Register of Ukraine.
These are other shipbuilding achievements:
1. Assembly and pipeline area: there are being continued production and installation of pipes of the heating system, compressed air system and also hydraulics of rudder-propellers rotation. Besides, mounting of anchor winches is in the homestretch: bow anchor winches have been mounted fully; a screw stopper is being installed on the aft anchor winch. Cable sealing of the lifting pilot house will be completed soon. Towing winch has been assembled; cable and compressed air system are being connected to it, then a built-in towing rope will be reeled on the winch.
2. ISD representatives are finishing installation of wall panel plating in the vessel’s living sector, and tiles have been completely laid. Besides, there has been started panel plating of the pilot bridge.
3. Specialists of the area of mechanical and fitter’s parts are completing production and installation of ventilation pipes in the engine room.
4. Electrical area: gears and lighting system have received power supply through the main switchboard. Cables are being connected to the navigator console.
5. Final painting of the vessel’s spaces is being continued.
6. On the tug there is being continued preparation for the arrival of commission engineers of foreign and national companies to conduct starting-up of systems: fuel separation (Westfalia Separator), carbon dioxide fire-fighting (Danfoss), water heating systems (Aalborg). At present assembly and test of the given systems are in the homestretch.
There is also conducted preparation for the arrival of main contractors of NIBULON, participants of the vessel’s sea trials: Mitsubishi (to adjust main engines) and BERG (to adjust propulsion system).
The vessel’s total readiness is almost 87 %.
At the same time NIBULON-6 tug is being built on berth. The construction progress will be presented in the photo report next week.
