At present hull formation is being finished; a number of works have already been finished and will be completed soon:
– afterbody edge was installed; erection joints of the units No.10 and No.20 are being prepared for welding;
– unit No.50 (forebody edge) was manufactured; it was canted and prepared for installation;
– towknees (sections No.84-85) were produced;
– manufacture of assemblies of smoke pipes (section No.90) is being finished;
– formation of the section No.60 (afterbody of the vessel’s superstructure) has been finished; it is being prepared for installation;
– hull items of the units No.10-40 are being installed;
– subassembly of the section No.70 (forebody of the vessel’s superstructure) is being continued;
–parts of the section No.80 are being manufactured;
– electrical-fitter equipment is being prepared for installation on the tug; pipe flanges, shafts and ship’s foundations are being manufactured;
– pipes are being mounted on the units No.10-40 and in the engine room; the formed spaces will be inspected for their compliance with the norms.
The total readiness of NIBULON-6 tug is more than 11.5 % at present. The shipbuilders are mounting deck and sides of the unit No.40; the units No.10 and No.50 (forebody and afterbody edges) have already been mounted. The last batch of processed and cut metal which is necessary for construction has been delivered to the shipyard.
