On October 16, 2015, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko participated in the keel-laying of the third non-self-propelled vessel (NBL-91 project) during his visit to NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard.
NIBULON’s shipbuilders completed assembling the vessel’s half-hull within a month and a half.
At the same time the specialists are testing spaces for tightness. They have mounted a hatch coaming of the second hold. The shipbuilders are mounting items of the mechanical and fitter’s workshop.
The specialists continue producing hatch covers No.1-2, bottom subsections of the units No. 8-9, and also a subsection of the fore end of the unit No.12.
They are also assembling side sections of the units No.8-9.
The suppliers work actively, supplying paints and varnishes, deck and other equipment to the shipyard.
The non-self-propelled NBL-91 project vessels will be transported using pusher tugs (the company has six tugs (POSS-115 project) and three tugs – 121 project). They are intended for transporting general and bulk cargoes located in two holds.
Main dimensions of the NBL-91 project vessels:
length – 90 m; breadth – 16 m; breadth overall – 16.22 m; depth – 4.2 m; draught loaded – 2.7 m; displacement – 3,750 t; cargo hold capacity – 5,050 cubic meters.
