The fact that our country is united in this difficult time must be proved not only by words but also by deeds. Russian aggression in eastern Ukraine destroys the economy, people’s lives and homes. According to the Ministry of Social Policy and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, at present more than 1.2 million of displaced persons from Crimea and Donbas region are registered officially. This figure equals the number of people living in Mykolayiv region.
Since the beginning of the Russian aggression, NIBULON has been regularly assisting the Ukrainian army. The company repairs military equipment, provides with fuel and lubricants, food and improves living conditions of the military. Eastern Ukraine has faced the humanitarian crisis caused by armed confrontation. NIBULON, following its patriotic philosophy and practice, has assisted people who suffered from military actions. For example, in September 2014, Donbas region received more than 40 tons of humanitarian assistance (vegetables, flour, vegetable oil, and others) from Snigurivka district. In order to deliver the cargo, the company gave trucks, developed logistics, and products were quickly delivered to Svatove town in Lugansk region. That day the hospital and boarding schools in Svatove and Starobilsk districts received products.
In summer 2014, the company provided food (including sausage products, minced meat, eggs, oil and others) to the International Charitable Foundation “Rehabilitation Center “Maidan Hospital” and the SE “Sanatorium “Teteriv” in Zhytomyr region. The products were given to women and children taken from ATO area.
Recently, the company has given foodstuff to the Regional Charitable Foundation of Public Assistance to the Underprovided. This was the main argument for NIBULON’s management who chooses partners according to the reliability principle and cooperates directly with aid recipients.
NIBULON gave the Foundation 2,200 kg of potatoes and 1,700 kg of flour. And in March this charitable organization received 100 kg of honey, 50 kg of back pork fat, 805 kg of potatoes and 300 kg of flour from NIBULON. “You know, the quality of products is important as well as their quantity”, shares Olga Taryko, a chief accountant of the organization. “Fresh pork fat was especially popular when forming food packages”.
Olga Taryko told that the Foundation had to ask for help many organizations and companies, as the number of refugees from Donbas region was increasing. NIBULON proposed its variant of products and delivered them quickly.
“At the very beginning we received a lot of products, including money. But the assistance was reduced with the lapse of time. Though, as you can see, the humanitarian problem still exists. And today we form food packages from the products supplied mainly by NIBULON. We thank NIBULON’s team and Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. Your assistance is valuable for people suffered from war. NIBULON’s charitable activities can incite potential sponsors”.
Lyubov Kedas and her family left Mariupol town, when it was dangerous there. Now the Foundation of Public Assistance to the Underprovided is supporting her. “I do not know how we would survive without the assistance”. We deeply thank NIBULON and other companies that enable the Foundation to help people out of trouble”.
NIBULON’s Deputy General Director Andriy Volik supplied the humanitarian assistance to the Foundation. He mentioned that NIBULON’s management realized the importance of assistance to Ukrainians who had suffered from military actions in eastern Ukraine. Taking into account the necessity to improve Ukraine’s security because of military actions in Donbas region, NIBULON continues to support the Ukrainian army.
Andriy Volik added, “Our main reason for assisting refugees is that we are Ukrainians from west to east, the citizens of Ukraine. The strength of our country is in our unity”.
