In spring the number of people who want to visit NIBULON’s transshipment terminal is increasing. And pupils from MykolayivVocational School for Service Industries, in addition to familiarizing themselves with the renowned company, obtained a peculiar experience, as the excursionists will be engaged in tourism sector in future.
NIBULON’s transshipment terminal is a company that impresses all visitors regardless of their profession. The pupils were sincerely impressed by the production and technological laboratory where the specialists measure gain quality by using modern equipment installed in the laboratory.
Vyacheslav Sizov, an economist of the economic analysis and planning department, demonstrated grain movement by using conveyer and noria equipment – from the sampling to the shipment on board a vessel. The guests were informed on the absence of faults when grain is shipped during peak hours. The transshipment terminal has a well-engineered technology of inner grain transportation and uses the equipment produced by foreign manufacturers.
The pupils were told about NIBULON’s own cargo fleet, vessel construction at NIBULON’s shipbuilding and repair yard. They observed NIBULON’s vessels, the loading of vessel that will transport grain for export.
The visitors saw comfortable working conditions created for NIBULON’s employees as well as its own greenhouse and garden that provides the terminal’s cafeteria with vegetables.
The guests shared their impressions with pleasure.
Olena Safronova, a tourism lecturer, said, “We visit NIBULON as part of the educational process. Our theme is to conduct excursions within industrial tours. An industrial tour is a modern tourism direction. The most important thing is that we have seen NIBULON – the model company both in Mykolayiv and Ukraine. Having seen NIBULON’s terminal, we know that our country has a future”.
Karyna Lipina, a pupil, said, “I was impressed by the accuracy and perfectness of technological processes. The company cares about its employees and creates good conditions for them. The industrial facility has its own greenhouse and garden…”
Kateryna Skurchanska, a pupil, said, “I was amazed by the laboratory the most: unique equipment, well-coordinated work of many people. The territory is clean. Everything has a European level here”.
Leonid Kuryts said, “We seem to be in different centuries, observing NIBULON and things outside the company. The youth should visit the company in order to see that Ukraine has both a future and the deserved present days. One should just work like NIBULON does”.
