The company has completed one more stage of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard reconstruction, namely it has reconstructed the slipway. The slipway reconstruction provided for the construction of two auxiliary launching ways. They enable the shipbuilders to construct and to perform maintenance of complete vessels with a length of 100 m.
The specialists are completing finishing works to make the building that will control the rails look like a real tug.
The company sets itself a goal – to construct a modern fleet and this, in turn, requires the presence of a state-of-the-art shipbuilding plant. Thus, everything must be perfect at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard: general appearance, interior design of each of the premises and workshops with modern equipment from the world’s best manufacturers that ensures a high level of plant automation and creates comfortable working conditions for the company’s employees.
We would remind you that the shipyard put two new modern workshops into operation in 2017: a metal processing workshop and an assembly and fabrication workshop with modern equipment from the world’s leading manufacturers. At the end of last year, NIBULON with the support of the European Investment Bank started to reconstruct the slipway of the shipyard. Due to construction of two auxiliary launching ways, the shipbuilders are capable of constructing and performing maintenance of 100-m vessels. However, this is not the limit for the shipyard. The company plans to construct six more launching ways that will allow the shipbuilders to maintain complete vessels with the length of 140 m.
