Thus, the specialists have already tested anchor and mooring equipment on the second non-self-propelled NBL-026 project vessel that was launched on October 16, 2015 with the participation of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
In addition, the company’s shipbuilders are performing outfitting works on the vessel, in particular they have completed the production, assembly and painting of three hatch covers (out of four ones required); the mechanical and fitter’s workshop are completing assembly of mechanical and fitter’s parts. The specialists are adjusting a hatch cover drive. The paint shop has painted buoyancy compartments; they will paint open areas of the hull soon.
Thus, the specialists plan to put the vessel into operation by the end of the week. Then it will be transported on the berth of the company’s grain transshipment terminal to be loaded with barley for its first cargo trip.
The workers at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard continue constructing the third NBL-027 project vessel. At present they are forming the after half-hull (units No.1-5) and have already started to install coamings of the hold’s hatch covers.
The shipbuilders are assembling subsections of the units No.6 and No.7; they continue producing assemblies for the subsections of the units No.7 and No.12.
Thus, at present NIBULON’s shipyard has a workload. In 2015-2018, NIBULON plans to construct at its own shipyard 11 non-self-propelled vessels (NBL-91, В2000, 90М projects), a self-propelled floating crane (similar to St.Mykolai floating crane), a non-self-propelled C14938 project floating crane, multipurpose seagoing tugs of 3.5 and 5 thousand hp, plus a crew boat.
