According to NIBULON’s head of engineering and maintenance department Roman Kuzmin, the company purchased 10 combines of the same manufacturers in 2015. During the operation, they demonstrated their best technical characteristics: they are effective, highly-productive, economical, and reliable. When purchasing new machinery, the management of NIBULON once gain gave preference to leading American manufacturers John Deere and Case. The combine harvesters with rotary threshing mechanism are equipped with nine-liter engines that allow one to use fuel more efficiently. In addition, the new models are more improved, compared to the previous ones. In particular, Case 6140 combine harvesters have increased engine power up to 354 hp, unlike a predecessor Case 5140 (312 hp). The electric gearbox is used for the first time (there is no gear lever, it switches with the help of a button). More reliable hydraulic pumps of the new design are used. John Deere S760 combine harvesters differ from its predecessors John Deere S660 in complete new improved control joysticks, which are more convenient in the fields, more functional interface of onboard computers, and modernized hydraulic system. As for production volumes, such a combine can harvest up to 50 hectares with crop capacity of 40-45 dt/ha in a day.
“Today, NIBULON puts into operation ten high-capacity combines from well-known brands. They will allow us to increase the productivity of grain harvesting by 20 %. At present, the fleet of NIBULON’s branches numbers 72 combines. They will operate in the fields soon”, said Oleksandr Tereshchenko, a regional director of agricultural production.
In particular, modern machinery will increase the machinery fleet of “Prybuzhanivs’ka” branch (Mykolaiv region), “Bystryts’ka” branch (Zhytomyr region), “Kamyanets’-Podil’s’ka” branch (Khmelnutskyi region). “Khmil’nyk” branch (Vinnytsia region), “Troyits’ka” branch and “Starobil’s’ka” branch (Luhansk region) and will take part in this year’s harvesting campaign of late grain crops, which will significantly speed up its terms.
The developers also took care of the comfortable conditions for machine operators. The cabins are equipped with climate control and touch-screen onboard computers. There are installed yield and moisture monitors with sensors displaying the level of the bunker filling, grain volume and moisture content.
NIBULON’s head of lease relations department Nadiia Bodnar said, “Combiner is one of the most honored professions in Ukraine, as we can say that our country is the largest breadbasket in the world. The land is fertile, and people are hard-working. Having come here and seeing these combines, the soul sings. I would like to master this profession to work in such comfortable conditions. I have seen harvesting and I know that a job of combiners is not easy. But with the help of such modern machinery, our employees will work well. I’m sure”.
The representatives of Landtech Ltd. and Agroaliance Ltd., combine suppliers, also came to the ceremony and wished NIBULON development and prosperity. The chairman of Shyroke village council Serhii Peresunko also delivered a speech. Wishing the company record yields he said,
“I am proud that such a leading company as NIBULON works on our land, because while you work – there will be jobs for our people, and consequently earnings. If there is money, the youth stays in the village, gives birth to children. And it means that the village will live”.
However, schoolchildren and children from the kindergarten of Shyroke village were especially glad. They were first to try their hands at operating combines and visited the cabins of new machinery, where the company’s employees told them how it works. The signals of combines attracted their attention. At first, they tested them.
It should be noted that in parallel with the implementation of the next stage of the investment program within which NIBULON constructs transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River, constructs complete vessels at its own shipyard and develops navigation, including passenger transportation, NIBULON renews its agricultural machinery fleet. This ensures the quality of technological operations in the best possible terms and consequently increases the quantitative and qualitative indices of grown products, which is one of the main strategic objectives of NIBULON’s agricultural production development.
Despite difficult economic situation in the country, NIBULON continues investing money in the renovation of agricultural machinery. This year, the total investment amounted to about USD 6 million. In addition to John Deerе and Case combines, in March 2018, the company purchased seven new Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors, six CASE Tiger Mate cultivators, and twenty-two Belarusian MTZ 952.3 tractors that are designed for the needs of our company, allowing us to use tractors during spring field works and sowing of winter crops more effectively.
This is the answer to Stop Corruption, all “experts”, “well-wishers” of our company, who are not competent at agrarian sector and who do not care about the image of public standing of our country. Shame on you! This is a real proof that our company successfully works and invests in Ukraine’s economy. Wait for new positive news about NIBULON.
