NIBULON’s shipbuilders are performing outfitting worksand are busy constructing new orders with even more zeal.
The eighth non-self-propelled B2000 project vessel
All the outfitting works have been performed and the vessel is ready for operation. Therefore, one more unit will be added to NIBULON’s shipping company soon.
The first non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel
The shipbuilders are cutting metal, assembling units and sections. In parallel, the procurement campaign is being carried out and the design work is being completed.
The P-38 project floating crane
The construction progress of the high-capacity crane is almost at the same stage as the construction progress of the non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel. The readiness of the order comprises almost 10%. The shipbuilders are actively producing necessary parts which form assemblies and sections.In parallel, the procurement campaign and design works are being continued.
MYKOLAIVETS high-capacity self-propelled dredger (SDS-15 project)
The shipbuilders finish performing outfitting works, namely: electrical mounting, deck coating, panel plating installation, equipment and systems installation; they have started machinery testing. The sea trials are scheduled for mid-October. Therefore, the dredger will be put into operation and transferred to NIBULON’s shipping company next month.  In October MYKOLAIVETS will begin experimental dredging on the Dnipro River, namely Dniprodzerzhynsk Reservoir dredging.
Launching this vessel is a historical event for our country. Unfortunately, the navigable routes in Ukraine decrease each year. Due to the lack of proper depth on the rivers, the vessels are forced to be underloaded. NIBULON practically fulfills the duties of the state, carrying out dredging of rivers at its own expense. Last year, due to the leader of the agrarian market of Ukraine navigation on the Southern Buh River was resumed.
Launching this unique dredger is a kind of new page in the history of NIBULON’s shipyard. Thus, NIBULON’s shipyard is ready to build more complex orders in terms of engineering and design.
Besides, the company has already ordered projects of multipurpose seagoing tugs of 3500hp and a crane with cargo holding capacity of 10 thousand tons with two high-capacity cranes; they are being designed. It is planned to build these vessels in 2018-2019.
We would remind you that NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard has completed the construction of non-self propelled B2000 project vessels intended for operation on the Southern Buh River and the 121M project tugs named after famous Mykolaiv shipbuilders. In total, NIBULON has launched 7 vessels in 2017, and the shipyard has a hundred percent workload for the next two years.
