At the end of last week, on Facebook there was posted information on supposedly low-quality road maintenance by Mykolayiv Avtodor Ltd (NIBULON’s contractor). We officially inform you that the given information is false and aims only to damage NIBULON’s reputation.
NIBULON has been repairing a roadway in Mykolayiv city for several years. In addition to NIBULON’s engineering supervision, the Housing and Communal Services Department of Mykolayiv City Council controls the given process. They control milling and asphalt laying as well as its quantity and quality on the basis of which road concrete mix receives a certificate. Thus, the statement on uncontrollable and low-quality road repair has no grounds. The specialists carried out asphalt milling at the level of 5 cm and more, thereby ensuring strength, durability and endurance of asphalt on the entire area (along Chygryna Str. – from Pushkinska Str. to Korabely Lane – from Chygryna Str. to Novoselska Str.; along Novoselska Str. – from Korabely Lane to Sudnobudivelnyky Lane; along Sudnobudivelnyky Lane – to Kabotazhnyy Spusk and Industrialna Str.). The milling depth can be limited only by stone blocks or concrete slabs that are not disassembled during milling. The specialists blow through every road patch, fill it with bitumen mastic and then lay asphalt. This contributes to better cement bond. The total cost of repair work comprises UAH 410 thousand; the specialists have used more than 190 tons of road concrete mix.
“We are conducting this work for community, and we respect public control. Today our country is improving itself and creating new society, and the community role is of great value”, stresses Sergiy Besedin, deputy general director of construction. “As for me, it is necessary to distinguish public initiatives from ordinary promotion for account of NIBULON. At present we are finishing repair work, and it is too early to make any conclusions as to its quality. After completion of works, NIBULON’s engineering supervision and the Housing and Communal Services Department will make glades in order to check quality. Mykolayiv Avtodor Ltd repaired road several times. Those who reproach it for unscrupulous performance of work can receive evidence that the road, repaired by this contractor last year, is in ideal condition until now”.
“NIBULON is the only company that assists the city in repair maintenance”, mentions Ivan Dayneko, an engineer at Mykolayiv Avtodor Ltd. “In order to perform this work, our organization uses qualitative anti-wear road concrete mix. The road surfacing laid last year remains undamaged”.
The closer the elections, the more people will try to gain popularity by slandering or creating artificial scandals. Only weak people will build their reputation by tarnishing honour of those who initiate and do good deeds.
