As reported earlier, NIBULON has acquired 60 new Mercedes, Volvo, and Scania trucks this year. On July 27, 2017, presentation of new NIBULON’s trucks took place in the family circle of NIBULON’s employees.
“Today is not just a holiday for NIBULON. Today is the holiday for the entire Ukraine”, stressed NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. “This is the holiday of the victory of the best quality level.  We all know and see every day what a large truck fleet we have in Ukraine and how many trucks move daily on the roads. But few people thought about the fact that only 1% of these trucks have been operating for less than two years. The Ukrainian truck fleet is one of the oldest in the world; we are at the bottom of the ranking in terms of quality and quantity of new cars.  It is inconceivable that the fact that a company can buy 60 new European trucks is a rare case in a modern European country, we consider Ukraine to be”.
According to Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, NIBULON’s truck fleet is the best and the most modern one in Ukraine, “Usually, such cars are produced exclusively for European countries and they are unusual for the post-Soviet space; but today they have been supplied to Ukraine. The trucks were produced at the factories of the best countries of the world in May, June, and July 2017; they are adapted to the conditions and roads of our country”.

The renewal of NIBULON’s truck fleet by vehicles that have been produced in 2017 will contribute to decrease in traffic loading on the roads and preservation of the environment. It is possible due to the fact that the weight of an empty road train is 2 tons less than the weight of the similar road train of previous years or popular in Ukraine KAMAZ with a trailer; it is 8.5 tons less than the weight of MAZ with a truck hitch. Due to lightweight design of the trucks, it is possible to transport 2 more tons of cargo; in turn, it will allow us to remove every tenth truck form roads. In addition, all trucks are equipped with automated gearbox; this will reduce the influence of drivers on driving style and fuel consumption. For comparison, fuel consumption of loaded Mercedes trucks comprises 25 liters per 100 km, which is almost 1.5 times less than fuel consumption of other foreign trucks of previous years, and two times less than fuel consumption of KAMAZ and MAZ. The modern truck fleet is also equipped with SCR system; due to this system, harmful NOx under the influence of high temperature decomposes into harmless water and nitrogen. For comparison, KAMAZ or MAZ discharges 31.4 kg of nitrogen dioxide consuming 1 ton of fuel and causes atmospheric pollution, whereas the modern trucks minimize the harm of these emissions due to special AdBluе reagent (32.5% of urea) and turn them into nitrogen and water, thereby taking care of air purity and compliance with environmental standards.
On this day, the best drivers of NIBULON received keys to Mercedes and Volvo trucks. 
“I congratulate our best drivers and wish them to remain exemplary on the roads. Everyone will confirm that our drivers work without truck overloading, as NIBULON is a law-abiding and disciplined company. We call on all business entities to follow our example”, stressed Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.  
The company’s goal is to redirect cargoes to rivers as much as possible. NIBULON transports 2 million tons of grain per year along the Ukrainian rivers. In the coming years, we will transport 4.6 million tons by water annually.
“We want to be closer to each agricultural producer and provide an opportunity for every Ukrainian agrarian to transport his crop along the rivers. Our modern fleet is designed to optimize the logistics of grain transportation. Given the fact that the company’s transshipment terminals are built as close to agricultural producers as possible, these trucks will operate within 80-100 km with agricultural producers”, explained Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. “As a matter of fact, the Ministry of Infrastructure should take care of this. But since it does not do this, we initiated the development of efficient logistics system in Ukraine: the revival of rivers as transport arteries, river dredging, construction of a modern fleet.  
According to him, NIBULON does not stop its large-scale work on the development of river logistics in Ukraine. The company considers plans for the construction of new transshipment terminals in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions, as there is a very strong interest of regional authorities in attracting investments in the development of the regions.
