During 24 years of activity, the company has its own concept of corporate social responsibility consisting of regular and purposeful work in different areas of community life. Everything is very simple: if you really want to improve social welfare, you must work at all levels (to improve the company, to cooperate with community, authorities, and partners) and in all directions (medicine, education, charity, preservation of environment and cultural heritage, etc.).  
Today thousands of children study at schools that NIBULON repaired and equipped with modern computers, teaching aids, and sports equipment. Many people are treated with medical equipment purchased by NIBULON. People thank the company for helping to construct churches, renovate water supply and illumination, and to repair streets. NIBULON succeeded in improving living conditions for the hundreds of thousands of people across Ukraine. This is our main achievement.
Modern Medicine in Small Villages
NIBULON has been regularly providing modern medical service to villagers during many years. Studying this problem and speaking with landlords, we have found out that most villagers do not have any physical ability to undergo medical check-ups regularly. People complained that district hospitals were far away from their villages. According to them, qualified medical check-ups require much money.
We have helped people to solve this problem, having organized free medical check-ups in villages. Last year doctors arrived to examine people living in Mykolayiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyy, Vinnytsya and Zhytomyr regions. Any local inhabitant: landlords, their families, NIBULON’s employees and other villagers had an opportunity to undergo medical check-up and receive highly qualified advice. Above 4.4 thousand people underwent medical check-up and received qualified advice. People were pleasantly impressed, as any company has never organized this before.

Thus, doctors from the regional hospital participated in organizing medical check-ups in Mykolayiv region. The teams consisting of six doctors with a portable fluorograph visited villages in Vradiyivka, Domanivka, Voznesensk, Snigurivka and Bashtanka districts.
NIBULON has been cooperating with Mykolayiv regional hospital for a long time. Our cooperation, directed to improve health protection quality in the region, has a long-term and constant character. In 2010, the hospital received from NIBULON an Olympas GIF-E endoscopic device, in 2011 – a Soleo Sono ultrasound unit; in January 2012, NIBULON presented the hospital’s physiotherapy department with a Soleo Galva electrotherapy unit.
In October 2015, NIBULON presented Mykolayiv regional hospital with diagnostic equipment made in Japan. ProSound а7 (Hitachi ALOKA Medical, Japan) ultrasound diagnostic system and an Evis Exera GIF-Q150 (Olympus Medical Systems Corp., Japan) video gastroscope are professional multipurpose equipment of more than USD 275.46 thousand. The Hitachi ALOKA medical ultrasound system includes leading developments and enables doctors to perform any check-ups and obtain high-quality image due to the use of up-to-date technologies of mathematical treatment of ultrasound signal. There are only six such devices in Ukraine, and it is the only device in the south of our country. The given equipment enables doctors to checkup about 30 persons per day or 5.4 thousand persons within six months.

NIBULON’s team presents new equipment to Mykolayiv regional hospital
Three years ago NIBULON visited Mykolayiv city children’s hospital No.2 for the first time. Then, NIBULON allocated funds to repair and equip an infancy department with modern medical devices. The hospital purchased new beds and wardrobes, home appliances as well as the best medical equipment.
In April 2015, Mykolayiv city children’s hospital received new presents from the company. NIBULON presented a XS-5510 MICROmed monocular microscope to do routine and general researches in transmitted light and also to research blood and urine in diagnostic field. The hospital also received an L 734-II BIOMED 4-reflector mobile surgical light which is characterized by high illumination level, low thermal radiation, qualitative color transfer and shadowless effect. Due to NIBULON, the doctors received Biomed children’s medical suction units (7E-B). These devices are valuable, as they are intended for patients being in coma or during operation.
This assistance is of great value for the city, as among 7 thousand children being treated in the hospital annually, about 70% of them are treated with the equipment purchased by NIBULON.

During 2015, NIBULON constantly helped hospitals, medical and obstetric centers in different regions of Ukraine to repair and purchase new modern equipment. In particular, NIBULON helped to repair the roof in Volodymyrska hospital (Kazankivka district, Mykolayiv region), purchase equipment for Mykolayiv hospital for disabled war veterans and feldsher’s station of Velykotsk village council (Milove district, Lugansk region), repair Kamyanets-Podilskyy central district hospital (Khmelnytskyy region), and to install heating system in the medical and obstetric center of Lubentsi village council (Kamyanka district, Cherkasy region), etc.  
Due to NIBULON’s assistance, the hundreds of thousands of people across Ukraine have an opportunity to receive medical assistance promptly and at the highest technological level.
Qualitative Education Guarantees Successful Country
Promoting high level of education is an urgent task set before our company. NIBULON aims to help children from ordinary city and village schools to obtain qualitative education.
The level of education determines state development. An intelligent and smart child will become a successful and talented person in future. We want to educate these very citizens of Ukraine. From year to year, the company has been assisting educational institutions across the country, presenting sports equipment and teaching aids, equipping computer and multimedia classrooms, repairing classrooms. The company is sure that only constant work and support can really improve educational and cultural level of children. Due to our regular and long-term charitable activity, pupils from the company-sponsored schools demonstrate high results in school contests as well as all-Ukrainian ones.
The company has been implementing “NIBULON’s standard” project for more than 10 years. As part of the project, almost 100 company-sponsored schools both in Mykolayiv and in 12 regions of Ukraine receive charitable assistance annually. In 2015, Mykolayiv comprehensive secondary school No. 24 received from NIBULON a multimedia projector for scientific conferences, presentations, and children’s creative projects. NIBULON updated computer equipment and multimedia projectors presented earlier to Mykolayiv comprehensive secondary school No. 51. The company installed new plastic windows in three classrooms at Mykolayiv comprehensive secondary school No. 57. Thus, it will be not only interesting but also comfortable for the pupils to obtain knowledge.

The company presented sports equipment to 150 schools in Ukraine so that pupils may become not only educated but also healthy.
It will be comfortable for the pupils to study at Novolazarivka comprehensive secondary school (Kazankivka district), Dobrentsi comprehensive secondary school (Bashtanka district, Mykolayiv region) and Velykotsk comprehensive secondary school (Milove district, Lugansk region), where the company installed metal-plastic windows. NIBULON repaired the roof at Lyubomyrivka comprehensive secondary school (Berezneguvate district, Mykolayiv region) and Veselivka comprehensive secondary school (Beryslav district, Kherson region). The company allocated funds to repair classrooms at Subotivka comprehensive secondary school (Chygyryn district, Cherkasy region), Ryachky and Tyutyunnyky comprehensive secondary schools (Chudniv district, Zhytomyr region). NIBULON allocated funds to make children healthier in a summer camp at Globyno comprehensive secondary school (Globyno district, Poltava region). NIBULON provided funds to Denykhivka comprehensive secondary school (Tetiyivka district, Kyiv region) to purchase modern LCD television.
Ukrainian Nation Spirituality Preservation
If education is a nation’s intellect, then culture is its soul. Our company regularly allocates funds to restore and repair churches: wall painting, territory improvement, organization of holy days, fund-raising dinners and local history conferences, etc.
In summer 2015, NIBULON assisted in decorating the church in Buda Khutor (Chygyryn district), where a thousand-year-old Maksym Zaliznyak’s oak is situated, symbolizing indestructibility of the Ukrainian people and their freedom-loving character. It is the first and the only church built in honour of the Great Martyr St. Peter Kalnyshevskyy (an ataman of Zaporizhzhya Sich), canonized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Kyiv Patriarchate.

The Holy Patriarch of Kyiv and All-Rus’ Ukraine Filaret decorates NIBULON’s General Director with the Order of St.Yuriy the Conqueror for his contribution to the Ukrainian spirituality revival and strengthening of the local Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
High-quality Roads is a Step towards European Way of Development 
This year, the problem with Ukraine’s roads has been urgent as never before. In order to reduce traffic load on highways in Ukraine, NIBULON has started implementing its investment project to revive Ukrainian rivers as transport arteries. Due to this project, the company transports more than 1.5 million tons of grain cargoes by water annually, which represents the same figure as could be carried by more than 47,000 thousand trucks per year in Ukraine.
As a socially responsible company, NIBULON annually invests funds to repair roadway. NIBULON finances road renovation in all regions where the company’s branches operate. In particular, the company spent about UAH 7 million for these purposes in 2015.
Our company is confidently implementing a socially-oriented and European vector of development of not only itself but also the country, as high-quality roads will positively influence the domestic economy.

Nature Preservation
In its multi-aspect activities, NIBULON strictly follows one of the principles of a successful business – not to neglect environmental protection problems. While reviving the existing navigable waterways (as part of the unique investment project to revive navigation along Ukrainian rivers started in 2009), the company is taking measures to prevent natural resource depletion. To stock reservoirs with fish is one of the main methods.  
As part of compensatory measures, and namely, as a result of mud cleaning in the water area and the access channel to the “Kozats’ka” branch cargo berth, NIBULON put almost 1.6 tons of herbivorous fish (a two-year-old silver carp – 10,130 units) in the Kazak River.

Assistance to Forcibly Displaced Persons
Since the first days of military aggression, our company assists the Ukrainian army in repairing machinery, ensuring fuel and lubricants, food, and improving living conditions.
NIBULON is true to its patriotic philosophy. The Regional Charitable Foundation of Public Assistance to the Underprovided received from NIBULON food products (more than 3 tons of potatoes, 2 tons of flour, 1 dt of honey and 0.5 dt of lard). This organization has a good reputation in Mykolayiv region; it supports thousands of the underprovided. Today the organization is involved in forming food packages for forcibly displaced persons.
In October 2015, the ammunition depot of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine burst in Svatove town (Lugansk town). As a result of blast wave and shell burst, private and multifamily buildings as well as other facilities were damaged. The houses of employees who work at NIBULON’s “Svativs’ka” branch were damaged. NIBULON did not neglect this problem. The company promptly gave material assistance to employees whose houses were significantly damaged. NIBULON also financed the delivery of humanitarian assistance from Mykolayiv region to Svatove town.

Today NIBULON together with the Ukrainian community is developing a new country. Every year the company allocates considerable material resources to support education, improve medical service level, preserve the environment, create appropriate working conditions and wage, and to achieve a high quality of life in the country.
NIBULON’s activity is model in the domestic conditions and an example of a socially responsible business. In 2015, the company signed social partnership agreements with more than 90 village, settlement and city councils of more than UAH 3 million. These funds are used to repair schools and hospitals, to winterize kindergartens, to repair roads, to renovate illumination and water supply.
