Health and social protection of both employees and their families are important for NIBULON. All NIBULON’s employees have the right for material security and social services according to the mandatory state social insurance. These rights are ensured according to the current legislation of Ukraine.
According to the Article 4 of the Law entitled “On Mandatory State Social Insurance Connected with Temporary Disability and Funeral Expenses” No.2240-III dated 18.01.2001 that was in force till 01.01.2015, insured persons had the right for material security and social services according to the mandatory state social insurance.
According to the procedure to obtain sanatorium and spa treatment by insured persons and their families, at the end of each calendar year the insured persons requiring such a treatment provided NIBULON’s social insurance committee with a written request and a medical certificate (Form No.O70/o) in order to receive a sanatorium voucher next calendar year.
Quarterly, NIBULON’s social insurance committee received sanatorium vouchers according to the people’s requests and standards of Mykolayiv City Executive Directorate of Mykolayiv Regional Department of Social Insurance Fund for Temporary Disability. NIBULON spread the information on sanatorium vouchers among its employees, by sending e-mails and putting up notices at the transshipment terminal as well as at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard.
During 2014, NIBULON received a total of 24 sanatorium vouchers to make employees healthier (six of them were intended for parents and their children) and also 12 sanatorium vouchers to children’s health-improving institutions.
At present, according to the second part of the Section II “Conclusive and Transitional Provisions” of the Law No.77, dated January 01, 2015, the Law No.2240-III lost its validity. Thus, in 2015, the Social Insurance Fund will not provide vouchers for sanatorium and spa treatment.
