At present NIBULON’s 22 production branches located in 12 regions across Ukraine are engaged in agricultural production. This year the weather conditions have been more favourable for the company’s branches located in the northern region. The branches in the southern and eastern regions have faced unfavourable weather conditions preventing them from achieving high results. This very factor has influenced the diversity of harvesting results and become a determinant of the 2020 harvesting campaign in the country. Despite this, the company has finished the harvesting campaign of early grain crops, demonstrating good results. The company’s branches have harvested almost 110 thousand tons of early grain crops, out of which the wheat gross yield comprises 100 thousand tons. The production branches will have finished harvesting of late grain crops by the end of the month. At present the company has harvested a yield on 39 thousand ha (90% of planned areas), having received more than 115 thousand tons of agricultural commodities. NIBULON has harvested more than 42 thousand tons of sunflower. Pryseimivska (25.2 dt/ha, Sumy region), Starobilska (24 dt/ha, Luhansk region), and Sukhorabivska (24 dt/ha, Poltava region) branches are the leaders in sunflower yields. The branches have harvested sorghum and soybean. The branches are finishing harvesting corn. Khmilnyk (Vinnytsia region), Pryseimivska (Summy region), Romanivska (Zhytomyr region) branches are demonstrating the best results, having harvested more than 100 dt/ha. Working efficiently, the company’s specialists have managed to reduce the damage to commercial and seed batches caused by a corn bug and quarantine weeds. Thus, the company continues to grow high-quality food grain. This year’s index comprises 97% of the total grain product gross output. 2020 has been a challenging year for the agricultural producers, but despite the weather conditions, economic crises, epidemics, and other obstacles, the agrarians are preparing for the new season. Thus, at present, NIBULON has completed the autumn sowing campaign, having sown more than 30.3 thousand ha of winter wheat, 2.1 thousand ha of winter rapeseed and 1.7 thousand ha of winter barley. Seedlings have already appeared on most areas. The agronomists are currently tilling soil to sow spring crops. They have already cultivated 21 thousand ha out of 37 thousand ha planned. A firm foundation to receive a high yield in 2021 has been laid. We wish all the agrarians favourable weather conditions in a new agrarian season.
