As it has been mentioned, specialists mounted six silos at the construction site. At present, they are installing material handling equipment. Meanwhile, contractors continue mounting hoppers for road transport shipments and a loading rack for water transport shipments.
The specialists from Construction Company Ltd. (Dnipro) have plated the headhouse and the bridge between silo No. 2 and silo No. 8; they have started to install windows.
The pre-commissioning of the modern equipment from the world’s leading producers, such as Bühler GmbH (Germany), PRECIA S.A. (France), Cimbria Unigrain A/S (Denmark), UAB Liucija (Lithuania), etc. is being finished at the construction site.
The specialists continue the works on territory improvement and continue reconstructing the cargo berth. The upper deck is being prepared for concreting. The contractors complete producing the frame of formwork of the last section; its length is 20 m. We would remind you that the berth reconstruction provides for its extension from 104 m to 222 m. Thanks to this, the total length of waterside at the transshipment terminal will comprise almost 800 m, thereby enabling it to handle up to five vessels simultaneously. In turn, this will increase the speed of vessel maintenance and will improve the operational efficiency of the company’s fleet built at its own shipbuilding yard.
