Today the shipbuilders are working on sixteen vessels. They are building new orders, maintaining and modernizing NIBULON’s existing cargo fleet. Thus, the shipyard has launched the non-self-propelled B1500 project open type vessel in the standard operating mode. Having broken the Champagne bottles, the shipbuilders continue building vessels, in particular conducting outfitting works on the NBL-41vessel. The vessel (length – 75 m, breadth – 17 m, depth – 3.5 m, cargo deck area – 835 m2, and displacement – 1,500 t) is intended to transport general and bulk cargoes in the sea areas and Ukrainian inland waterways. The vessel’s characteristics enable it to create various tug-barge combinations, such as a tug and a non-self-propelled vessel, a tug and two non-self-propelled vessels placed in series or in parallel, a tug and four non-self-propelled vessels placed according to a 2+2 scheme. In order to build the vessel, the specialists used about 700 tons of sheet and profiled rolled metal, 200 tons of sheet rolled metal and rolled metal to produce parts of the mechanical and fitter’s area, 4.5 m of cable, 30 tons of welding materials, and more than 12,800 litres of coating materials. It should be mentioned that the two non-self-propelled B1500 project vessels, which have been launched this year, are being operated efficiently on the inland waterways, improving the company’s fleet operation. Thus, at the beginning of summer, the NBL-39 and NBL-40 have already transported more than 10 thousand tons of various cargoes, namely reinforced concrete piles, sand, crushed stones to construct Zelenodolska branch (Marianske village, Dnipropetrovsk region). Consequently, NIBULON removes not only grain but also other cargoes from highways. Due to the vessels’ operation, the company removes more than 420 trucks with building materials from the Ukrainian roads. NIBULON has been transported about 18.5 million tons of cargoes during the implementation of its investment project. Thus, more than 770 thousand trucks have been removed from the Ukrainian highways.
