NIBULON’s General Director, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Vadaturskyy and Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl started the construction of NIBULON’s new high-capacity transshipment terminal in Ternivka (Vilniansk district) in an original and non-standard way – with the help of a live stream from the construction site during the 3rd International Forum for Integration and Cooperation “InCo Forum 2018”.
The event took place in Zaporizhzhia on October 12 during the forum, immediately after Kostiantyn Bryl, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, handed Oleksiy Vadaturskyy a Permit to carry out construction works in order to build a terminal. Due to support of the head of the region, it was received in an optimum period of time. After that, all participants of the investment forum saw on TV screens how the first pile of the terminal was rammed in Ternivka village (45 km from Zaporizhzhia).
During the forum, NIBULON, a leader of the agrarian sector, presented its large investment project. This complex is the third terminal of NIBULON in Zaporizhzhia region.
The investments in construction of the terminal in Ternivka will comprise USD 19 million. The high-tech transshipment terminal will provide jobs for about 120 people, reduce the expenses of agricultural producers in the region for transportation of products grown, as well as will pay more than UAH 2.7 million to the local budget annually due to taxes paid. It is planned to put the transshipment terminal into operation in June 2019.
Within the framework of the forum, Kostiantyn Bryl, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration congratulated NIBULON on starting construction of the large transshipment terminal in Ternivka. “This is more than UAH 600 million of investments; these are jobs, taxes, and restart of the entire Vilniansk district”, said Kostiantyn Bryl. The governor of Zaporizhzhia RSA also thanked NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy for his contribution to the development of the region, as well as for an example of social responsibility. “This company is not only an investor. Oleksiy Vadaturskyy is a great friend of Zaporizhzhia region. Wherever the company works, its work is accompanied by social projects”, stressed Kostiantyn Bryl.   
NIBULON’s General Director said that NIBULON’s investments in the economy of Ukraine had exceeded USD 2 billion. “We invest in Ukraine’s infrastructure development, revival of the Dnipro River as a transport artery, shipbuilding revival. Today, it is another victory for us. Our company has invested more than USD 2 billion in Ukraine’s economy. As a company, we have qualitatively changed the country’s logistics. We have constructed 25 facilities and a modern fleet of Ukraine. We have constructed state-of-the-art automated terminals, we have constructed a modern vertically integrated logistics in Ukraine”, said Oleksiy Vadaturskyy during his speech.
Head of Ternivka village council, representatives of the leadership of Vilniansk district, villagers and guests from Zaporizhzhia also attended solemn beginning of the complex construction in Ternivka.
Dmytro Ivanov, head of Vilniansk District State Administration of Zaporizhzhia region, congratulated the community on the beginning of the new terminal construction. “I want to congratulate us on this remarkable event, to thank NIBULON for choosing this territory to implement its ambitious project. This is creation of new jobs, opportunity to make young people stay in the community and provide jobs for them. There is no doubt that any obstacles to implement this project are absent for such a powerful investor as NIBULON and for our builders. We are confident that the facility will be inaugurated as it is scheduled”, said Dmytro Ivanov.
The head of Ternivka village council Viktor Lavryk also congratulated the villagers on such an important event as the beginning of the largest in Ukraine transshipment terminal construction. “Today is a historical event – such a large investor as NIBULON came to our village. The first pile has been rammed today. It means that the village budget will receive funds for improvement, new jobs will be created, and people will be receiving salary. I congratulate everyone on this remarkable day. I say to NIBULON “Welcome to Ternivka”, said Viktor Lavryk.
Andrii Saliakin, head of Vilniansk District Council, recalled that Vilniansk District Council voted for the first decision on the project of the transshipment terminal on October 17, 2017. And the last decision of the district council was adopted on September 10, 2018. “The district authorities are interested in such a large investor. NIBULON is a strong partner for all of us. It will create jobs, pay salary on time, pay taxes to the budget in order to develop Vilniansk district, to develop Zaporizhzia region and Ukraine”, said Andrii Saliakin.
About 1.5 thousand specialists from 70 contracting organizations from almost every region of Ukraine will be involved in constructing NIBULON’s high-tech terminal in Ternivka. In total, about 3,500 piles (105 thousand rm) will be rammed, and 5-6 ferroconcrete products plants will have a workload; 100 thousand m3 of soil will be brought, 13.6 thousand m3 of concrete structures will be produced, and more than 29.4 thousand m2 will be concreted; 3,640 tons of metalware will be mounted, and a 130-m berth will be constructed.
In addition, NIBULON will dredge 1,821 m of the left tributary of the Dnipro River – the Ploska Osokorivka River – to ensure the water approach to the transshipment terminal.
“By our own example, we have shown that we transport agricultural products by river transport, thereby removing traffic load from the roads. We plan to transport 4 million tons of cargoes along the Dnipro River, and this saves UAH 4 billion for road repairs. And we continue constructing the fleet. We will transport 60 % of cargoes in Ukraine by river transport”, said Oleksiy Vadaturskyy in his speech during “InCo Forum 2018”.
Svitlana Zachepylo, head of Bilenke united territorial community, told about the experience in working with NIBULON that has proved it to be an attentive and socially responsible investor and partner of the entire community. “We worked in harmony. This company is a socially responsible business. This company came, constructed its terminal, and gave money to the community. The investor constructed a beautiful school stadium, equipped a modern computer class, invested in treatment facilities. The territory is blossoming. I’m very grateful. I say to every head, welcome such a socially responsible business. Appreciate it, love it, and cooperate with it”, said Svitlana Zachepylo.
We would remind you that NIBULON constructed its first terminal in Zaporizhzhia region – “Kamyanka-Dniprovs’ka” branch – in 2010. In June 2017, the company inaugurated its transshipment terminal of “Khortytsia” branch in Bilenke village (Zaporizhzhia region) in the presence of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman, representatives of international financial institutions, and ambassadors of foreign countries.
