NIBULON and UNUH have been cooperating efficiently for many years. The job fairs and career days promoted cooperation at the beginning of the 2000's. The company’s successful development inspires students to undergo practical training at NIBULON’s branches, where they obtain experience in using modern laboratory equipment while studying at the university. The company contributes to the improvement of the material and technical facilities at the educational institution. Please note that more than 80 graduates and students from UNUH now form an integral part of NIBULON’s team. The joint project of dual education is an improved level of quality cooperation between the private industrial company and the state educational institution. The project provides the mastership of theoretical knowledge taught by the staff at the university and the practical training at the company’s production branches. The agreement to implement dual education for the 181 “Food technologies” course was signed online by Larysa Buryk, NIBULON’s Deputy General Director of Personnel, and Olena Nepochatenko, UNUH’s rector. This academic year, NIBULON and UNUH will start to implement the best European practice in dual education. Every student studying under the dual education program will sign a trilateral agreement to regulate relations between the student, the company, and the educational institution. The university will appoint a coordinator to be responsible for the educational process, and the company will appoint a tutor to control the fulfillment of a student’s individual plan at the workplace in compliance with the practical training program. The on-the-job training at the company’s branches is planned to be started in the second semester of the 2021–2022 academic year. This stage will enable students to gradually learn theory at the modern elevators, to practice and to master job skills and at the same time to receive wages. Please note that NIBULON is the first agrarian company with which UNUH has signed a dual education agreement to implement. This cooperation will improve the quality of education, prepare specialists for the agri-industrial sector, contribute to the modernization of educational programs with respect to labour market trends, increase student’s motivation for studying, and make graduates more competitive in the global market.
