The general contractor Petrometal Ukraine Ltd. started constructing a complex after the company has received all the required permits issued by the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine. The facility will be equipped with four tanks of 75 m3 (total volume of simultaneous storage will comprise 300 m3); a place to discharge rail tank cars (the opportunity to unload two rail tank cars at a time); a fuel dispenser for fueling road transport; a place to pour fuel into tank trucks.
At present the excavation works at the construction site in Svatove are in full swing. In particular, the specialists are installing a foundation pit for four underground tanks, dismantling ferroconcrete covering for a settling tank, as well as reinforcing a foundation plate for the horizontal underground tanks. It is planned to complete the construction and to put the filling station into operation in April.
Taking into account the constantly growing need of the company for oil products, NIBULON’s management decided to build three filling stations in Kremenchuk (Poltava region), Svatove (Luhansk region), as well as in Khmilnyk (Vinnytsia region). In July 2018, NIBULON put into operation its first filling station to serve its own fuel needs at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch (Poltava region). Due to it, the delivery time of oil products to NIBULON’s branches in the eastern region, in particular in Luhansk and Kharkhiv regions, is reduced by two times (from four to two days). The logistics costs are halved, which saves up to UAH 250 thousand a month. In addition, the company is currently bunkering tugs at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch. As a result of not having to rely on third-party logistics, it is not only quicker, but also significantly cheaper.
