ALL ENGINEERING (Kyiv), which has been NIBULON’s reliable partner for many years and whose specialists participated in constructing NIBULON’s facilities, is a main contractor at the facility. According to the project, the main features at the facility, that will ensure the technological processing of grain, leguminous and oil cargoes (transshipment, storage and shipment on rail transport) are the following:
– 8 grain storages of 500 tons each;
– an elevator tower;
– a unit with a dump pit to unload road transport;
– truck scales;
– an underground conveyor gallery from truck unloading unit to an elevator tower and a ground transport line from an elevator tower to the hoppers for loading on rail transport;
– administration and amenity rooms with a laboratory;
– a railroad.
The new facility, with an annual capacity of 33.5 thousand tons, which will be used to receive and ship products by rail from NIBULON’s other branches, will not only provide complete automation of production processes but also increase NIBULON’s storage capacity. In addition, the proximity of the grain trader to agricultural producers will reduce farmers’ selling expenses of agricultural commodities, thereby enabling the farmers to increase their profitability and creating conditions to improve agricultural commodity production in the region.
We would remind you that, in order to improve and optimize cargo transportation logistics, at the end of June NIBULON purchased new hopper cars for grain with the capacity of 70.5 tons produced by KARPATY Experimental Mechanical Plant. The employees of “Smotrych” branch (Khmelnytskyi region) were the first to benefit from the hopper cars. NIBULON’s modern facilities for receipt and shipment are capable of loading hopper cars efficiently. Thus, it takes the company three days to perform a cycle, whereas others use them 3-4 times less efficiently. According to the company’s management, the hopper cars mustn’t be just storage on the road but a facility to deliver products efficiently.
