The first Т3500 project tug (manufacturing order 10010)
The specialists have tested diesel-generators on the vessel. They are testing ship’s systems and gears. The pilot control consoles are being connected in the pilot bridge. It should be noted that the gears are being installed under the supervision of foreign engineers – representatives of equipment suppliers, namely MTU (Germany), Rolls-Royce (Finland), Volvo-Penta (Sweden), etc. At the same time, finishing works are being continued in the living accommodations.
The second Т3500 project tug (manufacturing order 10011)
NIBULON’s shipbuilders are performing centring and installing a propulsion unit and gears of the engine room. The specialists continue producing and installing pipes of ship’s systems; they have started laying cable. The joiner’s shop continues producing furniture for the vessel.
The first POSS-115 project tug (manufacturing order 10028)
All sections for the vessel are already produced. The shipbuilders finish forming the strength hull of the tug on the berth. After that it will be moved to the prestart position and will be prepared for launching. The specialists continue testing spaces for tightness, as well as preparing them for painting.
The second POSS-115 project tug (manufacturing order 10029)
NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard continues producing sections of the vessel’s strength hull. When the first tug of this project is moved to the prestart position, the shipbuilders will start forming the second vessel’s strength hull.
The self-propelled P-140 project floating crane (manufacturing order 10032)
The shipbuilders continue producing bottom sections of the 140-m vessel, as well as cutting and bending metal to produce the remaining sections of the order.
It should be noted that T3500 project tugs are intended for escorting of foreign going vessels along the Buh-Dnipro-Lyman Canal (hereinafter BDLC), mooring, escorting of convoys of non-self-propelled vessels (from 2 to 4 units) along the BDLC, and escorting of convoys along the canals during ice conditions in the navigation area in the Dnipro River and the Black Sea. POSS-115 project tugs will ensure timely shipment from NIBULON’s transshipment terminals. Next year NIBULON’s network of terminals will be increased by two more terminals in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
