In particular, Promspetsbud Ltd. has already formed pile fields for a bucket elevator tower, a fire pump station, a diesel and generator station, and for one out of two silos with active ventilation of 2.3 thousand tons. Vzaiemodiia Ltd. has started concreting walls of the underground gallery. Along with this, the specialists keep ramming piles for silo with a capacity of 16,000 tons. They are installing foundations and walls of a new truck tipper’s grain dump pit. The contractors also continue constructing walls of the fire pump station and diesel and generator station at the branch. There are 7 contracting organizations (about 85 specialists) working at the construction site of “Kremenchuts’ka” branch.
It is planned to complete construction and to put the capacities into operation on August 1, 2018. As a result, total volume of agricultural products storage at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch will be about 90,000 tons.
The expansion of transshipment terminal capacity is an optimal option to solve the company needs for increasing volumes of simultaneous grain storage and reducing time of processing of trucks delivering it. In addition, project decisions are aimed at expanding the economic activity of the river terminal. In turn, this will contribute to reduction of traffic loading on the roads due to redirection of grain cargoes from roads to Ukrainian waterways; this will also cheapen transportation of grain cargoes, and consequently – increase purchase prices of grain.
We would remind you that in the coming years NIBULON plans to redirect its cargoes to water transport as much as possible. To this end, the company successfully performs a large-scale reconstruction of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard in Mykolaiv and constructs a cargo fleet.
