Despite unfavourable weather and climatic conditions during the harvesting campaign in the current season, NIBULON has completed harvesting of early grain crops at the production branches of Mykolayiv, Cherkasy and Lugansk regions and started harvesting at the branches of the Western region.
The company’s branches have finished harvesting of winter crops on the area of 19 thousand ha which is 72% of the planned volumes. In the south the highest yield indices have been demonstrated by the following branches: RE “Lidiyivs’ke” – 58.6 dt/ha, “Vradiyivs’ka” – 50.2 dt/ha, and “Prybuzhanivs’ka” – 47.7 dt/ha; in the east by “Suhorabivs’ka” branch – 50.4 dt/ha and “Svativs’ka” branch – 44.2 dt/ha. In the west the production branches have started harvesting demonstrating high indices: “Mriya” – 51.1 dt/ha, “Kamyanets’-Podils’ka” – 39.0 dt/ha.
At present there is being performed movement of grain harvester machinery (including 53 grain combines) from the South region to the North one.
Kostyantyn Khmelnytskyy, NIBULON’s deputy general director of agricultural production, mentions, “Croppage in the current season will be at a high level. It will be achieved due to diversification of risks, as the company’s crops are located in different soil and climatic zones of the country. Approximate calculations of biological crop capacity allow to expect above 140 thousand tons of early grain crops”.
NIBULON is characterized by its high production culture. It is confirmed by the results of the current harvesting campaign, including selected samples of wheat with high quality indices (I and II classes).
NIBULON’s specialists demonstrated high level of wok organization concerning crop protection from pests, including corn-bug. As a result, an indicator of damages caused by this pest comprises 0.3% on average.
At the same time NIBULON branches have started to prepare soils under crops of the next agricultural season. Preparatory work has been carried out on the areas of about 13 thousand ha.
The company’s production department has started to purchase seed grain, plant protection means, and mineral fertilizers. In August NIBULON will start new agricultural season!
