At present the production branches have completed harvesting of winter barley on the area of 2420 ha (98 % of the planned amount).The average crop capacity is 40 dt/ha exceeding last year’s one by 8 dt/ha. The highest level of crop capacity is demonstrated by “Bashtans’ka” branch – 47 dt/ha and RE “Lidiyivs’ke” – 43 dt/ha.
Within the next few days there will be started harvesting of winter wheat.
Besides, “Chygyryn” and “Kamyanka” branches of Cherkasy region will start harvesting of rapeseed and wheat soon.
According to the specialists of the production department, the gross yield of early grain crops in the current season will be at the level of the previous season at the minimum, including risks diversification (location of crops in different soil and climatic regions of the country). According to the previous calculations and control thrashing, a yield of early grain crops will comprise more than 100 thousand tons.
Grain crops harvested from the company’s fields have high quality indices and correspond to I-II classes. Harvesting completion will be held as soon as possible.
At the same time spring crops are being cared of. The company’s production branches have started to monitor the market of winter crops seed, plant protection means, mineral fertilizers, etc.
