NIBULON’s operating principle is based on the priority given to its employees’ lives and health. Thus, the company has created a separate structural division – a medical center licensed by the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine. It is located at NIBULON’s transshipment terminal and has been successfully operating for six years. NIBULON’s medical center has:chief doctor and general physician rooms;an isolation ward;a pre-trip driver check-up room;a registration room;a treatment room;a room to treat patients equipped with automated blood pressure sensors, phonendoscopes, oxygen saturation monitors, pyrometers, and others;an electrophototherapy room equipped with a magnetotherapy device, an electrophoresis apparatus, a blue light therapy device, and an inhaler;an ultra-high frequency therapy room equipped with an UHF device.NIBULON’s employees and partners can not only consult about any health issue, be examined and receive medical treatment as well as pre-medical first aid, but also can use medical services. The employees can free of charge undergo prophylaxis and treat acute and chronic ENT diseases, allergies, injuries, as well as musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological and dermatological diseases, whereas all the physiotherapy procedures in the state medical institutions will require payment as a result of the medical reform. The medical center’s healthcare workers have examined 8,300 patients over the recent year, 3,700 out of which have been agricultural commodity suppliers. The medical center conducts periodical pre-trip and post-trip medical check-ups of employees from the road transport service, shipping company, and the transshipment terminal. The medical center has conducted more than 13.5 thousand check-ups. The company’s management, together with the medical center employees, efficiently fights the spread of COVID-19. NIBULON has developed and implemented all the required measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, in particular: сhanging working practices by implementing a completely new and safe procedure to deliver correspondence, and others; providing employees with masks, respirators, sanitizers, cleansers, single-use towels;installing hands-free wash stands, hand dryers, disinfectants, and soap dispensers;providing offices with bactericidal irradiators (stationary and movable) to disinfect premises; disinfecting offices every two hours by using special solutions and bactericidal irradiators;controlling sanitary conditions of premises daily;conducting daily temperature screening of all employees, checking blood oxygen level and pulse by an oxygen saturation monitor;health monitoring, and others. NIBULON arranged free testing for the absence/presence of COVID-19 for its employees and their family members. At present more than 3.8 tests have been conducted. NIBULON’s employees and their family members can be vaccinated against COVID-19 on the basis of the company’s medical center. 475 employees and 188 family members have already received their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine. 328 employees and 84 family members have already received their second dose of a vaccine.NIBULON arranged computed tomography of thoracic organs for its employees and their family members. NIBULON equipped its car in compliance with all the sanitary requirements to transport COVID-19 patients to medical institutions to be consulted or hospitalized. NIBULON equipped a special premise outside the company to take biological material when COVID-19 is suspected. The company spent more than UAH 16 million to prevent and fight COVID-19 among its employees. The coronavirus pandemic has affected almost all countries worldwide and is a serious threat to humanity. Unfortunately, Ukrainian medicine was not ready for this. Mykolaiv medical institutions also required assistance. The appropriate conditions and equipment are required so that doctors can save people’s lives. To diagnose COVID-19 was also an urgent issue. The company’s main mission was to help people, to save their lives and to protect health. Realizing terrible consequences from coronavirus, NIBULON immediately started to solve these issues, in addition to implementing protective measures inside the company. Thus, the company implemented four large-scale charitable projects and conducted practically unreal work in such a short period of time. The company gave its own equipment to the Mykolaiv Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine. The laboratory can carry out analyses for the presence/absence of the coronavirus by using the PCR method. It can conduct up to 400 analyses per day. At present the laboratory has conducted 70% of the total quantity of tests on the company’s equipment. NIBULON repaired buildings, created oxygen supply points, laid an oxygen network, installed crio cylinders and gasifiers, gave artificial lung ventilation machines and many other things to the Mykolaiv Regional Center of Infectious Disease Treatment, Mykolaiv Children’s Hospital No.2, and Mykolaiv City Hospital No.1. The company assists the hospitals so that all Mykolaiv citizens and people from the region, adults, children, and patients with pathological conditions and chronic diseases can receive efficient and high-quality medical care.
