On July 23, “Kremenchuts’ka” branch received the first batch of high-quality diesel fuel (Euro 5) from Public Company ORLEN Lietuva under a direct import contract. The batch consisted of two tank cars (112 tons). These were the first test shipments of diesel fuel. In the future, it is planned to receive 360-720 tons each month. Thanks to well-coordinated work of the personnel, the first shipment of oil products and fueling of vehicles took place the very next day.
The filling station in Kremenchuk is equipped with a fuel dispenser for fueling road transport and a point for fueling tugs. During the first week of operation, 20 units of road transport (10,000 l) were fueled at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch, which saved about UAH 20,000; two tugs were fueled, and 100 tons of diesel fuel were transported to the company’s branches in the eastern region.
It should be noted that the facility is equipped with an automated fuel dispenser, which makes it possible to refuel trucks 24 hours a day without operator involvement, which in turn allows us to refuse to use the services of third-party filling stations and save about UAH 1,160 thousand per year.
Due to the construction of the filling station for own needs, the delivery time of oil products to NIBULON’s branches in the eastern region, in particular in Luhansk and Kharkhiv regions, is reduced by two times (from four to two days). The logistics costs are halved, which saves up to UAH 250 thousand a month. In addition, the company is currently bunkering tugs at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch. As a result of not having to rely on third-party logistics, it is not only quicker, but also significantly cheaper.
Due to a good location of the filling station, it is possible to provide other NIBULON’s branches closely located to “Kremenchuts’ka” branch with diesel fuel, to reduce logistics costs, as well as to remove traffic load from the highways of Ukraine. Fueling of NIBULON’s tugs and vehicles at “Kremenchuts’ka” branch will reduce the logistics component and it will help the company to be more competitive in Poltava region when providing grain transportation services.
