We conclude the series of materials about employees who have been honored with the “NIBULON’s Pride” award with a story about colleagues who have devoted almost their entire careers to working in the company, witnessed its most important events, and regard NIBULON as their home.
Liudmyla Mekheda, a leading accountant of the accounting sector of payments with buyers of the financial department, was recognized in the “30 years in the company” category. In fact, Liudmyla has been working at NIBULON for even longer, because she joined the company almost from the first days of its establishment. Today, she is the only employee who has been working at NIBULON for such a long time.
“I met Oleksiy Opanasovych long before the establishment of NIBULON; we studied at the same institute but in different courses, and then we worked together in the Mykolaiv Regional Administration. By profession, I am an economist. At the time of the founding of NIBULON, this profession was not in demand; everyone needed accountants. Therefore, I started working in the company precisely in this position. And I’m still working. Over all these years, a lot has happened, both good and bad. However, we all saw how decisive Oleksiy Opanasovych always was, and this confidence, faith in one’s own abilities, energy, and attitude of not giving up were transmitted to the entire team and remain with us today, even though he is no longer with us.
NIBULON started with 7 employees. And look at how many of us there are now! We have always been very lucky to have talented, hardworking, conscientious people who love their work. Our company is often considered to a “family” one, and to some extent, it is. I spent all my youth, my entire life, at NIBULON. And remembering those years, I feel warmth knowing that I have been working here,” says Liudmyla.
Oleh Hanzhela, a driver of freight transport vehicles department, started his career at NIBULON in 2001 as a driver of passenger cars. After the truck fleet was established, Oleh moved to a new MAZ truck. In 23 years of work, he has changed more than seven vehicles, but his professional results remained consistently high. For many years of productive work, which was always accompanied by high results and confirmed by Oleh’s authority among his colleagues, he was recognized as the “Best Driver”.
“I came to NIBULON on the recommendation of an acquaintance who was working here at the time. The company was looking for new drivers. My acquaintance no longer works here, and I stayed. NIBULON has become my second home. At first, I drove passenger cars. When the truck fleet appeared, I moved to a MAZ, transported our equipment, mainly in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Now I drive a Mercedes, transporting grain. For a driver, it is important to love your work, love the road and movement. Also, to pay attention to details, colleagues, and everyone you meet on your way because you never know what situation you will find yourself in. And these are very different people, namely other drivers, workers, the police… You need to be able to find a common language with everyone, be friendly, and then there will be no obstacles on your way,” shares his experience Oleh.
