On December 5, during the NIBULON.RELOADING conference, we not only summed up the performance of each department in 2023, but also awarded the company’s employees who demonstrated the best results. Each of them deserves a separate story. So, from next year we will launch a new column called NIBULON’s Pride, where we will tell you more about the contribution of each of the awardee. For now, we present a brief overview of the achievements of our colleagues.
Four NIBULON’s employees were honoured with “Guards of the Fleet” category. Mykhailo Zavorotchenko, director of the shipping company, and Roman Rybalko, a leading engineer of electromechanical systems in the service department of ship electric power plants and automation of the shipping company, were recognized for their creativity, innovation, and courage. Mykola Chasnykivskyi, a captain of NIBULON-2 tug of the shipping company, and Hennadii Shalamov, a relief captain of NIBULON-12 tug of the shipping company were recognized for their courage and determination in ensuring the preservation of the company’s fleet.
The team of Bessarabska branch and acting director Zakhar Miedviediev received an award under the “Team of the Year” category for high self-organization, motivation and initiative during the development of the branch. In today’s difficult conditions, the youngest branch of NIBULON ensures the company’s stable export opportunities. Of course, this is possible thanks to all the employees of Bessarabska branch, who work selflessly every day.
The heroism of Oleksandr Mekerov, a mechanical engineer of the group branch/cluster Prybuzhanivska (before clustering, the director of the Snihurivska branch), has been honoured with the “Brave Heart” award for his courage during the full-scale invasion of the aggressor country. Oleksandr and several volunteers from among the employees of the branch rescued agricultural machinery, including new combines, tractors, sprayers, harvesters, and disc harrows. Thanks to their efforts in coordination with the military, most of the company’s machinery was saved. In addition, the entire seed reserve of the southern production branches was stored at Snihurivska branch. Little by little, in small batches, Oleksandr and his colleagues managed to transport it, enabling the spring sowing campaign in the south.
Oleh Starozhuk, a tractor driver of the agricultural production at Chyhyryn branch, was recognized as the “Best Mechanic of the Year”. Oleh was always distinguished by a very conscious attitude to work, working 100%. “The more we do, the more we earn,” he often said, earning respect among his colleagues. And at the beginning of the full-scale aggression, Oleh demonstrated remarkable courage, rescuing agricultural machinery of NIBULON. Under the cover of fog, together with Oleksandr Mekerov, under whose leadership he worked in Snihurivka district before moving to Chyhyryn branch, he took out the company’s tractor to prevent it from falling into hands of the enemy.
Oleksandr Hryn, a tractor driver of the agricultural production at Prybuzhanivska branch, is known among his colleagues as an initiative and persistent employee, worthy of the “Best Combine Operator of the Year” award. Oleksandr joined NIBULON as a very young specialist. Year after year, he has been demonstrating the best results in harvesting. Colleagues appreciate and respect him for being someone they can always rely on.
Yaroslava Zaikyna, head of the procurement department of the trade department, was honored with the “E-Progress” category. In just three months, under Yaroslava’s leadership, NIBULON implemented an electronic document management system for interacting with agricultural product suppliers – a modern approach that significantly increased the efficiency of trade operation management. Today, 98.2% of contractors have fully switched to work in the Supplier’s Portal, which indicates the efficiency and convenience of the system.
Artem Korotushenko, a senior regional specialist of the trade department, was awarded the “First among Equals” prize. Artem has been working at Kremenchutska branch since the day it was established. For more than 10 years of work, he has proven himself as an ambitious, result-oriented, and loyal employee. In the past year, in addition to his primary responsibilities, Artem also worked in the procurement department. That’s why his 107% fulfillment of the procurement plan in 22/23 MY and the highest procurement volume among elevators for the same period – 152 thousand tons – is really impressive!
Oleh Hanzhela, a driver of freight transport vehicles department, was recognized as the “Best Driver” for many years of productive work, which was always accompanied by high performance and confirmed by Oleh’s authority among his colleagues. His journey at NIBULON began in 2001 as a driver of passenger cars. After the truck fleet was established, Oleh moved to a new MAZ truck. Since then, the driver has changed more than seven vehicles, but his professional results remained at a high level.
Liudmyla Mekheda, a leading accountant of the accounting sector of payments with buyers of the financial department, was recognized in the “30 years in the company” category. In fact, Liudmyla has been working at NIBULON for even longer, because she joined the company almost from the first days of its establishment. Today, she is the only employee who has been working at NIBULON for such a long time. Liudmyla has witnessed and participated in all the significant events that have shaped the life of NIBULON.
