At present the suppliers of metal-roll have already supplied more than 80% of the metal to Mykolayiv shipyard and also 90% of the metal-roll was delivered to Pallada state plant (Kherson).
Thus, Kherson state plant is cutting metal-roll for the vessels of 10007, 10008, 10009 manufacturing orders. At the same time NIBULON’s shipbuilders have started to produce flat plates of outer plating, inner side and inner bottom of the parallel middle body for three vessels. Marine equipment is being purchased.
NIBULON’s specialists continue to construct the 121 project tugs. The shipbuilders are busy working.
It should be noted that these vessels, due to their reduced draught, are designed for operation on inland shallow waterways and will be operated with the NBL-91 project vessels.
For information: the draught of the NBL-90 project non-self-propelled vessels is 3.56 m; the draught of the NBL-91 project vessels will comprise 2.7 m. The draught of the POSS-115 project tug is 2.54 m, and the draught of the 121 project vessel will be 1.3 m.
The tugs are being constructed, and in April the new vessels will be given to NIBULON’s shipping company.
At present the shipbuilders are mounting hull systems, installing welded outfitting and parts of the mechanical and fitter’s area. The specialists have already completed to paint cabins of the lower tier and are painting bilge tanks and outer plating.
Besides, NIBULON’s specialists have started to assemble the propulsion unit, in particular rudder propellers, on Kozats’kyy tug. Main engines have been loaded on board a vessel; they are being mounted.
