Thus, Mykolayiv, a city of shipbuilders, will celebrate an important shipbuilding event! The company’s specialists are working nonstop as only a few weeks remain. The shipbuilding progress is for your attention.
The specialists of the assembly and welding workshop finish installation of anchor hawsepipes and also mounting of doors and portholes of the pilot house (Kozatskyy tug). The shipbuilders finish production of a mast (Pereyaslavskyy tug). In addition, the units No.11 (superstructure aft) are being prepared for installation on board Pereyaslavskyy and Kremenchutskyy tugs.
The specialists of the mechanical and fitter workshop are assembling doors, plating living accommodation and navigation room, producing guard railing and towing arches and have started to install fendering on board Kozatskyy tug. The specialists have started to produce a column to lift the pilot house (1st stage).
The specialists of the assembly and pipeline workshop are installing hydraulic equipment to lift the pilot house (Pereyaslavskyy, Kremenchutskyy, Kozatskyy tugs), having started to assemble carbon dioxide extinguishing system and having completed assembly of the propulsion unit.
The specialists of the electric installation workshop continue to lay cable (Pereyaslavskyy and Kremenchutskyy tugs). Cable path will be laid soon on board Pereyaslavskyy tug. In addition, main switchboard has been already mounted; cables are being connected.
The specialists of the painting workshop clean and paint columns to lift the pilot house (1st stage) and also complete painting of tanks on the second and third vessels. In addition, outer plating will painted soon (all three tugs).
The specialists of the joiner’s shop have started to produce furniture for the tugs. The service rooms are being insulated.
It should be noted that putting into operation of the 121 project tugs will become the next step to revive the Ukrainian waterways and to improve the domestic logistics system.
