This is the fourth vessel of the given project. The shipyard will construct 8 vessels of this project; the shipbuilders will have launched six B2000 project vessels by the end of the year.
The vessel launching took place in working order, but all the traditions and customs were observed. Olha Piletska, a 4th grade electric welder of automatic and semiautomatic welding machines, became the vessel’s godmother and symbolically broke a champagne bottle against the vessel’s side. Olha has years of experience in shipbuilding. She has worked at Chernomorskyi Shipbuilding Yard for almost 30 years and has been working at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard for almost three years.
“Of course, the offer to be the vessel’s godmother was a surprise, but a pleasant one.  I have been working at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard for almost three years. I am satisfied with working conditions, the team, and wage which is always paid on time; it is extremely important nowadays”, noted Olha Piletska.  
The company’s shipbuilders have already completed construction of sections of the units No.6-9 (the forebody) and sections of the unit No. 10 (afterbody) of the fifth non-self propelled B2000 project vessel. In November the shipbuilders will start constructing the sixth vessel. Two more vessels of the given series will be launched next year.
We would remind you that non-self-propelled B2000 project vessels operate with 121 project tugs. One convoy (a tug plus two non-self-propelled B2000 project vessels) transports almost 4 000 tons of grain per one cargo trip, which represents the same figure as could be carried by more than 100 trucks. 
This summer, the launched B2000 project vessels have started navigating along the Southern Buh River, the main transport waterway of Mykolaiv region. In August, NIBULON’s cargo fleet performed the first cargo trip in 25 years to Buzke village (Voznesensk district). During nine months of 2016 NIBULON’s shipping company transported 180 thousand tons of grain and oilseeds along the Southern Buh River.
Today NIBULON is successfully performing water transportation. In 2015/2016 MY, due to its own cargo fleet, NIBULON transported 1,965 million tons of agricultural commodities by inland waterways. Upon completion of the company´s investment program to revive the Dnipro River and the Southern Buh River as the main waterways of Ukraine, the annual volumes of cargo transportation will comprise up to 4 million tons of grain (3 million tons along the Dnipro River and 1 million tons along the Southern Buh River), thereby enabling to unload about 60 thousand railcars and almost 167 thousand trucks per year.
