We aim at developing navigation along the DniproRiver in future. This is confirmed by symbolic names of the vessels that are directly connected with the main water artery of Ukraine. “Kozats’ka” and “Pereyaslavs’ka” branches are southernmost and northernmost ones which river terminals closed a chain of NIBULON’s own facilities (along “Kremenchuts’ka” branch), having created a navigation path along the Dnipro to NIBULON’s main grain terminal in Mykolayiv city.
The specialists have already moved three vessels to the prestarting position, preparing them for launching and further outfitting. Firstly, they will launch Kozatskyy tug according to schedule. Thus, the specialists are working actively.
1. The specialists of the assembly and welding area are installing the unit No. 11 – superstructure stern (Kozatskyy tug) that is placed over the containers with main engines. Assembly works on board Pereyaslavskyy and Kremenchutskyy tugs will be started within the next few days.
In addition, the shipbuilders are finishing installation of anchor pipes forward; the specialists will equip the pilot house soon; the mast is being produced.
2. The specialists of the assembly and pipe area complete assembly of propulsion unit on board Kozatskyy tug and are preparing to start the same works on board Pereyaslavs’kyy tug. In addition, the shipbuilders are assembling air conditioning pipes in the living accommodation (Kozatskyy tug) and testing tanks.
3. The specialists of the painting and insulation areas complete cleaning and painting of tanks on board Kozatskyy tug and are preparing to commence works on the second vessel. They have already insulated spaces in the living accommodation of Kozatskyy tug; the given works have been started in the engine room as well as in the living accommodation of Pereyaslavs’kyy tug.
On completing painting work the shipbuilders have started to insulate and install cable in the pilot house of Kozatskyy tug.
4. The specialists of the electrical area have installed cable in the living accommodation of the first vessel and started to install cable in the engine room. The specialists will start the same works on board Pereyaslavs’kyy and Kremenchuts’kyy tugs.
5. The specialists of the mechanical and fitter area have produced all three second-stage columns to lift pilot houses, continuing to produce first-stage columns. The lower cabins are plated with galvanized sheets (Kozatskyy tug).
After launching the tugs will be outfitted. The specialists will assemble electric equipment, gears, lifting cabin, etc. The given stage of works will testify that the vessel construction is in the homestretch.
