NIBULON’s shipbuilders are finishing final painting of open areas of the vessel. They are preparing to deliver the floating crane to a customer.
The first non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No. 10026)
The shipbuilders continue performing outfitting on the first 100m vessel. In particular, they are producing hatch covers; they are preparing to install them on the vessel.  The vessel’s main switchboard received shore power. The shipbuilders have started testing mechanisms on normal power supply system.
The second non-self-propelled B5000 project vessel (manufacturing order No. 10027)
The shipbuilders continue forming the vessel’s forebody. They are providing spaces of the afterbody half-hull of the vessel for approval and testing the approved ones for tightness. They have started cleaning and painting an afterpeak. Upon jointing of two half-hulls and painting, the vessel will be launched.
The first and the second T3500 project tugs (manufacturing orders No. 10010 and No. 10011)
The specialists continue metal cutting and bending in the metal processing workshop. They are producing a navigation room of the first vessel, assemblies and hull sections of the second vessel in the assembly and fabrication workshop. The specialists of the mechanical and fitter’s workshop are producing welded outfitting for the vessels. The propulsion unit, which is the executive part of the main power plant, from Rolls-Royce (Finland) has been recently delivered to NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard for the first tug. It is planned to launch this vessel in May. The shipbuilders are installing foundations for the propulsion unit.
It should be noted that while constructing the above-mentioned five vessels, NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard has already processed about 4,000 tons of metal. The training of employees and the advanced training started at the shipyard contribute to production quality and repair of vessel structures and attraction of young specialists who want to work with modern equipment and develop their acquired skills.
