Self-propelled P-140 project vessel (order 10032)
NIBULON’s shipbuilders continue installing sections of the upper deck. This week, the specialists installed the last and the largest section of the forebody (20 tons). There remained the most important structures – pillars of two cranes from the German firm Liebherr-MCCTEC Rostock GmbH with lifting capacity of 45 tons each one. At the same time, ship systems, the total number of which is 52, are being installed. The shipbuilders continue installing foundations for the equipment, assembling power distribution units, as well as installing deck equipment, doors, portholes, ladders, guard railing, pre-insulation equipment, etc. Meanwhile, the ready-made spaces were provided for approval, tests for tightness and painting.
The vessel, which will be put into operation this September during the international forum TRANS EXPO ODESA-MYKOLAIV 2019 at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard, is designed and constructed in accordance with the rules and under the supervision of the Shipping Register of Ukraine.

At the same time with the purchase of metal and other materials for the construction, the shipyard’s new workshops are preparing and cutting metal in order to produce sections of the first order. NIBULON’s shipbuilding program envisages constructing and launching four vessels of the project. They are intended for transporting containers, general and bulk cargoes, including sand, gravel, palletized goods, timber, etc.
In addition, new orders are being designed. The procurement campaign for them (T410 project harbor tugs) is being continued. The shipbuilders also continue performing maintenance and repair of the company’s cargo fleet.
It should be noted that during the first half of 2019, the shipyard put into operation 4 POSS-115 project tugs, carried out repairs and scheduled maintenance of 16 cargo and passenger vessels.
