Three orders are at different stages of readiness at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. The longest vessel in the history of the shipyard and the longest crane vessel of “river-sea” class over the last 25 years of independence – NIBULON MAX floating crane (140-m long), is among the orders. At the same time, the specialists are conducting repairs and maintenance of the shipping company’s tugs.
The third POSS-115 project tug (order 10030)
The specialists are performing outfitting on the vessel. In particular, they are assembling pipes and performing hydraulic tests. At the same time, they have started producing and installing pipes of the power plant, installing the gear to lift the pilot house, in which preparations for plating and installation of the navigator console are made. The specialists of the electrical area finish connecting the main switchboard.
In the living accommodations of the tug, panel plating is being assembled. The shipyard’s specialists are laying tiles in the sanitary facilities, galley, and laundry.
The fourth POSS-115 project tug (order 10031)
The shipbuilders are installing welded outfitting and ventilation on the last vessel of this project envisaged by the production program for 2018-2019. The specialists have started producing and assembling pipes for insulation and plating. At the same time, the shipbuilders are carrying out preparatory works to install the rudder propellers and equipment of the engine room.
Self-propelled P-140 project floating crane (order 10032)
The shipbuilders continue assembling and welding bottom of the vessel’s hull. They have started installing sections of the second tier, namely side sections, sections of the engine room, walls between the holds, and auxiliary space. Foundations of the main diesel generators are being prepared for installation in the engine room. Other shipyard’s areas (assembly and pipeline workshop, mechanical and fitter workshop, metal processing workshop, assembly and fabrication workshop) are also producing components of the 140-m floating crane.
Such an active implementation of the company’s shipbuilding program is a positive signal for Ukrainian metallurgists. In the coming years, NIBULON’s fleet will consist of 100 vessels built of Ukrainian metal, operating with Ukrainian crews, under Ukrainian flag, on the waterways of our country.
