Recently, three tugs of the 121 project have joined NIBULON’s “fleet family”, and today the shipyard is actively constructing three non-self-propelled vessels of the NBL-91 project.
And now the shipyard’s specialists have started to construct the C14939 project pontoon (manufacturing order 10006) – an absolutely new shipbuilding order.
The latter will be used to install a portable transshipment crane with a productivity of 5 thousand tons per day. The crane will conduct loading and unloading operations in the roads and at the transshipment terminal without involving third-party organizations and perform additional cargo operations. The shipyard plans to put into operation the pontoon in October 2015.
The pontoon length will comprise 38.5m; breadth – 12 m; midship depth – 3.45 m; draught – 1.45 m. The vessel will receive the class of the Shipping Register of Ukraine: KE * Ice1 B-R4-RSN2,0 industrial vessel.
It should be noted that in April 2015, our company signed a contract with Terex Deutschland GmbH for supply of a Terex Fuchs MHL 385 D loading machine.
At present the shipyard is constructing the pontoon. Pallada Kherson State Plant has already received metal-roll to produce hull parts. The shipyard has received 150 tons of completed parts. Thus, NIBULON’s shipbuilders have already started to produce the first hull units of the vessel.
At the same time the shipbuilders are constructing non-self-propelled vessels (NBL-91 project).
The company’s shipbuilders completed construction of the aft half-hull, and they are forming the fore half-hull of the first and second vessels. The specialists are installing hold coaming, fender bar, manholes, ladders, watermarks, air and measurement pipes; they are producing mechanical and fitter parts for hatch covers on board the first vessel.
They also carry out tightness tests, clean and paint compartments.
