Residents of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions will be the first passengers of high-speed NIBULON Express passenger vessels this season. From May 15, scheduled trips by the route Nova Kakhovka – Kherson will be performed. The company will perform trips by the route Voznesensk – Kovalivka – Nova Odesa – Mykolaiv from May 18.
The trips along the Southern Buh River will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the passenger vessel will be in Mykolaiv in order to perform pleasure trips “Mykolaiv cityscape”. In addition, everyone will be able to order an individual pleasure trip on a high-speed vessel on these days.

In Kherson region, a passenger vessel will operate every day. It will transfer people from Nova Kakhovka to Kherson in the morning and will transfer them back in the evening. During time lag between scheduled trips residents and guests of Kherson will be able to take advantage of an opportunity and order a pleasure trip.

From June 1, 2018, NIBULON will start passenger transportation between Mykolaiv and the Kinburn Spit and Ochakiv. Last navigation season we didn’t manage to launch the trips by the route Ochakiv – the Kinburn Spit. We know how disappointed those people who really waited for these trips were. Unfortunately, our passenger vessel was unable to enter Ochakiv port (it is subordinated to Ukrainian Sea Port Authority SE) due to lack of certified and properly equipped berth. However, the problem is solved. This summer all those who wish will be able to get from Ochakiv to the Kinburn Spit on a comfortable and high-speed vessel. NIBULON equipped a floating berth that doesn’t disturb the ecosystem, but preserves the biodiversity of the Biloberezhzhia Sviatoslava National Park.
The passenger vessels to the Kinburn Spit will leave from Kabotazhnyi Mol (behind NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard). Specially for passenger water transport, NIBULON’s specialists equip a comfortable station with benches and bio toilets there. The town beach is a place for embarkation and disembarkation of passengers in Ochakiv. The company will also install a floating berth with the length of about 100 m there.

The pleasant news is that despite the significant increase in prices in the country the fare didn’t increase significantly, as compared to last year. Most passengers can afford to perform trips on comfortable high-speed passenger vessels. It should be noted that such a price policy is a manifestation of NIBULON’s social responsibility. As General Director of NIBULON Oleksiy Vadaturskyy explained, it is still NIBULON’s social project; it does not contain profit.

Due to NIBULON, the popular water transport in Europe became popular with Ukrainian passengers again. Last season, more than 24,000 passengers enjoyed the trips on the high-speed hydrofoils. Children, ATO participants, public activists, volunteers, human rights activists and others also were among passengers during charitable trips along the Dnipro River in Kyiv, Kaniv, Kremenchuk, Cherkasy and other cities of Ukraine.
In addition, we have received positive feedback and appeals to launch passenger routes in their settlements. Our company has plans to construct its own new hydrofoils and small passenger vessels in order to develop transportation between the settlements on the Dnipro River, as well as between big Ukrainian cities on the Black Sea. To this end, the company is carrying out a large-scale reconstruction of NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard in order to place two production lines on its site – for passenger and specialized fleets, as well as for merchant ships. And we will do this!
