Korrespondent magazine gathered names of the largest Ukrainian companies’ managers: banks, insurance companies, retail networks, industrial, agrarian, telecommunication companies. There are more than a hundred of managers who are responsible for at least half of the Ukrainian GDP.
According to the magazine staff, the rating was based on the opinions of journalists and well-known analysts on the public reputation of the companies’ managers and their contribution to economic performance of the companies.
“We are absolutely sure that the economy is driven by specific people. If Ukraine still has its economy, despite domestic taxes and bureaucracy, then about half of it is the merit of these big business managers. We are very lucky that they exist and they work here. Although there would be no economy without customers, clients, and smaller business”, noted the rating’s authors.
This year, only three representatives of agrarian business have entered the rating. The best result among them was obtained by NIBULON’s General Director. He is ranked second place in the overall rating, having demonstrated one of the best results in assessing personal contribution of the manager to the economic performance of the company.
Strategic vision and will of management are among the important prerequisites for business success in the realities of Ukraine’s economy. And Oleksiy Vadaturskyy has managed to maintain pace of the company development for many years, achieving leadership in new areas of activity.
The success of NIBULON is a unique case when an agrarian company almost on its own successfully revives river navigation and shipbuilding in the country. The company radically changes Ukrainian logistics by constructing a fleet at its own shipbuilding and repair yard, by constructing transshipment terminals along the Dnipro River and the Southern Buh River. Recently, Oleksiy Vadadurskyy and Kostiantyn Bryl, head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, have started the construction of NIBULON’s new high-capacity transshipment terminal in Ternivka (Vilniansk district) in an original and non-standard way – with the help of live stream from the construction site during the 3rd International Forum for Integration and Cooperation “InCo Forum 2018”.
