Recently, NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy together with Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Kostiantyn Bryl held a working meeting with the builders at the construction site in Ternivka (Vilniansk district) on the construction of the high-capacity transshipment terminal worth more than USD 20 million.
The implementation of the investment project in Zaporizhzhia region became possible thanks to the assistance of Kostiantyn Bryl and his team. NIBULON’s General Director said at the beginning of the meeting,
“I want to emphasize that the construction of the terminal would be impossible without the support of the regional state administration and all the positive changes that have recently taken place in Ukraine. Now in our country the conditions for business development are created. If we construct facilities, then the authorities have created a favorable climate in the territory”.
The working area at the construction site grows each day, thereby increasing the number of builders involved in the constructing. At present, about 600 specialists are working at the site. Next month there will be about 1,000 builders, and in June there will be 1,500 builders. Poltavaspetsmontazh has started to mount metalware of the cable tray system, which is the main energy artery of the terminal as it will provide power supply from the transformer substation. Specialists from two more companies will start installing water supply and sewage systems soon.
Due to large peat layers and heavy soil, pile fields are still being formed at the construction site; a pile driver makes about 4,000 hits to drive one pile. Promspetsbud (Kremenchuk) is carrying out the vast majority of these works. At the same time, the contractors are concreting foundations under large and small capacities, dryers, which the specialists will begin mounting from the next month.
The transshipment terminal with a shipment capacity of 300 thousand tons per year is planned to be put into operation in July. Thus, NIBULON’s terminal in Ternivka will start working with agrarians in the new marketing year.
Not only locals get benefit from NIBULON’s newly built transshipment terminals (these are new jobs, decent wage, and socially responsible approach of the investor to solve problems of the citizens) but also agrarians who will save both money and number of vehicles necessary to transport their grain due to reduction of the transportation distance.
“Without transshipment terminals in Bilenke, Kamianka-Dniprovska and Ternivka, Zaporizhzhia farmers had to transport their products to Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa. This, of course, affected the quality of roads and the cost of grain. Due to the company’s facilities, the distance of the delivery of agricultural products is significantly reduced (there will be no need to transport goods at a distance of 300-400 km) and thus agrarians will not have to use heavy-duty trucks. And each farmer saves from USD 3 to 5 per ton. Taking into account that the capacity of the transshipment terminal is 300 thousand tons, this is a huge amount of money that agricultural producers will invest in the development of the agricultural sector, wages, etc.”, stressed Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
NIBULON’s next investment project in Zaporizhzhia region is additional profit for the local farmers, significant funds to the local budgets, new jobs, and stimulus to the development of many other sectors of Ukraine’s economy.
