NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard launched the sixth vessel of the B2000 project designed for operation on the Southern Buh River. Henceforth, NIBULON’s fleet numbers 56 units with the total displacement of more than 161 thousand tons.
Although the procedure of launching the new vessel, which became an ordinary affair for NIBULON’s shipbuilders, as always was held without solemnities, perhaps, even the most renowned celebrities would envy such pleasant smiles on the employees’ faces and applause at the moment of symbolic marine tradition of breaking a bottle against the side. Olha Dovzhenko, an accountant who is involved in purchase of the necessary materials for construction, became the godmother of the newly built non-self-propelled vessel.  
The teachers of geography and economics, who are attending the refresher course at Mykolaiv Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, also visited this important event in history of Ukrainian shipbuilding. The teachers had only pleasant impressions of what they saw at NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard and at the transshipment terminal. According to them, they had got very valuable experience, having seen the highly organized facility the analogues of which they had never seen before. Thus, they will gladly tell their students about the diversified company which is engaged not only in production and export of agricultural commodity, construction of elevator complexes and transshipment terminals, but also in development of navigation and shipbuilding.  
Dmytro Khyzhniak, head of marketing department of the State Scientific and Production Enterprise “Kartografia” who had visited the company’s facilities with the teachers from Mykolaiv region, also shared his impressions,
“It is nice that shipbuilding is alive in Ukraine due to NIBULON. I’m delighted with range of activities. One can see that here everything is done to a high professional standard. I wish the company prosperity and success in investment projects implementation”.
We would remind you that due to cooperation with the EIB, NIBULON is constructing non-self-propelled vessels, modernized 121M project tugs (this will be the second triple of the 121 project tugs built at our shipyard), reconstructing NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard. In 2017 the company plans to finish constructing the series of non-self-propelled B2000 project vessels, put Mykolaivets dredger and a new floatinf crane into operation.
