Petro Poroshenko Visited NIBULON in Mykolayiv City

On May 12 Ukraine’s presidential candidate Petro Poroshenko had a working visit to NIBULON. During the visit he became familiar with the production process at the transshipment terminal and the process of cargo fleet construction at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”.
While communicating with the staff, Petro Poroshenko mentioned that a lot of things united his enterprises and NIBULON now. In particular, a considerable part of work on cutting and processing of metal was performed at the shipyard “Leninska Kuznya” owned by Petro Poroshenko. “I was impressed that metal provided to your company has turned into the finished hull for several months”, mentioned the politician. “Your team has put so much labour and soul to implement the project! These very enthusiasts, like your team, like Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, revive our country. We are united by a lot of common things: attitude to people, high level of wages, medical insurance, and social responsibility of the companies. I think these very people who try to create work places not due to, but in spite of the country’s wish must cooperate so that a labour man can become the first person in the country. A taxpayer is a person who creates workplaces, who keeps the whole bureaucrat system. Look what is happening in Mykolayiv city today and appraise this contrast: “Chernomorsky Shipbuilding Yard”, SE “Shipyard named after 61 Communards”, shipbuilding yard “Okean” are at a standstill; innocent workers must queue up for job at the shipbuilding and repair yard “NIBULON”.
Petro Poroshenko stressed that at present NIBULON itself had to reproduce industrial, shipbuilding and agrarian potential of the country, “Just imagine all the things to be achieved if the country will not prevent but assist business: remove unfair courts, create independent judicial system, prohibit tax officers from entering the company’s territory and preventing workers from working. How to create a country that would protect a labour man? We must live in a new way people gave their lives for”.
According to the candidate, those who stand for federalization are against Ukraine, “Federalization means not just transfer of authority at the local level, but federalization means country weakness. Federalization of Ukraine means repetition of Crimea scenario (“Crimea-2”, “Crimea-3” or “Crimea-4”): split and disconnection. What for? Everyone who suggests federalization today is Ukraine’s traitor, and we will never accept it. Decentralization of authority is quite another story. At present main power must be given to the territorial community: not to the regional state administrations or even district state administrations but to cities, villages, towns where the community will determine language to be spoken, holidays to be celebrated, buildings to be constructed”.
According to Petro Poroshenko, the current issue is army’s problem, “Till now Ukraine has not got any army; weapon has been sold and stolen. Fight spirit and patriotism have been absent; traitors at the level of top management have destroyed Ukraine’s defense capability. Certainly, today we can criticize or be upset, but for the last month and a half Ukraine’s armed forces have been reviving. As soon as the soldiers, sergeants, officers have felt support from the country and people, they perform their duties absolutely differently. They execute orders, crush terrorists, bandits and murderers without hesitation. Our army will be mobile, efficient with high-precision and modern arms and above all patriotic and well-paid. I think that a soldier being in battle must obtain UAH 1000, and his life must be insured for a vast sum testifying support from the country. If the country treats its armed forces in such a way, then the armed forces will protect the country efficiently. There is no more honorable duty than to serve the Motherland, and there is no more important priority among budget allocation than to renew fighting efficiency of our armed forces”.
Presidential candidate mentioned that being at the roadblock in Mykolayiv city, it was pleasant to know that most of equipment and protective facilities for military men had been purchased by NIBULON, “Peaceful life in Mykolayiv city, stability, economy development rely on such people like Oleksiy Vadaturskyy. We are like-minded persons, both of us are agrarians, shipbuilders, and we were persecuted by the previous authorities. We want all things that have happened and all victims not to be vain! Together we must build a new country without corruption, unfair courts; a country where without visas we will be able to go abroad, where our products will be sold in the largest world markets without customs and quotas. Consequently, we should not complain of absence of Russian, Kazakh, Byelorussian markets, we must work in competitive economy. Only in this case we will succeed, as our people are the best workers, the most intelligent, and the most skilful.
In his turn, NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy stressed that Petro Poroshenko and he, as managers of large business, understood problems to be solved in order to live in a new way, “As for me, new people must be in power at all levels of our country so that our country have future. We need development of economy and companies, attraction of investment, international recognition, openness for the European markets, access to the world financial institutions. I hope that new team will make Ukraine successful. We must take care of our country together, work and do everything for its future. Strong economy means strong and independent Ukraine!”
“Our big team works in 12 regions of Ukraine from West to East. People hope and believe that together we will achieve better future for our country. I am sure that in our city and in those regions, where our branches operate, we will give a mandate of trust to Petro Poroshenko in the first round (according to the sociological researches, it is quite real both in our region and all across Ukraine), and on May 25 Ukrainians will choose Head of Ukraine, Supreme Commander in Chief, Protector of the Constitution, thus, leaving the enemies no chance to infringe upon integrity and sovereignty, statehood and independence of Ukraine. History may not present Ukrainians with the second chance”, stressed Oleksiy Vadaturskyy.
