As of today, Vladikos PC has constructed rails No. 11-16. The specialists almost completed covering the foundation for monolithic beams (length – 72 m, but 64 m are under water) of lifting and launching rails. The retaining walls of the pier have been constructed. To this end, 800 m of sheet pile were used. The construction works on the expansion of the transfer device are almost completed. Due to this, NIBULON shipbuilding and repair yard will be capable of launching and maintaining 30 m wide vessels (now it is capable of launching 18 m wide vessels).
In parallel with the reconstruction of the slipway, there were replaced rails on launchways No. 1-7. The specialists also installed about 1,500 m of new rails and ties on the building berth of the shipbuilding and repair yard.
It should be noted that in addition to the slipway reconstruction, the company prepares two new warehouses for putting into operation (an insulation equipment warehouse and a paints and varnishes warehouse) and installs a Liebherr portal slewing crane. However, this is not the end of modernization. In particular, management of the company plans to reconstruct the first floor of the pipe bending workshop, which will enable the company to place additional living space and improve the working conditions for the employees.
