NIBULON is a leading Ukrainian investor and the driving force behind the development of the country’s economy. At the beginning of the year we recollect the records established in 2018: fleet construction, the growth of volumes of water transportation, the construction of new facilities, the storage and export of agricultural products. Meanwhile, NIBULON also achieves new records in the fields.
According to Kostiantyn Khmelnytskyi, deputy general director of agricultural production, the volume of agricultural production grew by 20 % and accounted for about 335 thousand tons, as compared to 2017. This is one of the best results for all years of NIBULON’s activities.
The main result of the 2018 season was a record gross yield of sunflower – 50 thousand tons and a record yield of corn – 87.6 dt/ha. These are record volumes in the company’s history. The results are received taking into account the fact that NIBULON is engaged in agricultural production not only in the north which traditionally receives high yields of corn, but also in the southern and eastern regions with predominantly dry weather conditions.
We will focus on the leaders of the 2018 season – NIBULON’s production branches without which these records would have been impossible. The highest yield of sunflower was demonstrated by “Pryseimivs’ka” branch (Sumy region) – 32.5 dt/ha and “Kamyanets’-Podil’s’ka” branch (Khmelnytskyi region) – 28.7 dt/ha. “Khmilnyk” branch (Vinnytsia region) and “Romanivs’ka” branch (Zhytomyr region) demonstrated the highest yield of corn (118.3 dt/ha and 110.3 dt/ha respectively).
According to Kostiantyn Khmelnytskyi, in 2018, NIBULON staked on production intensification – increase in mineral fertilizers volumes, spread of high-capacity wide-cut machines. As part of this task, the company renewed its agricultural machinery fleet. In 2018, NIBULON’s agricultural machinery fleet received almost one hundred units of new machinery, including twenty-two Belarusian MTZ 952.3 tractors, ten new John Deere and Case combines, six Tiger-Mate II cultivators, three Kinze 3000 seeding machines, ten Fendt 1038 VARIO tractors, one Lemken Rubin 9-600 disc harrow, two Lemken Rubin 10S800 disc harrows, seven Lemken Vari Diamant 11 ploughs, four Amazone Citan 12001 seed drills, three Great Plains 3S3000 seeding machines, seven STEP KM-6 field rollers, sixteen Dominioni sunflower and corn reaping machines, and four Geringhoff HSII corn reaping machines. Thus, NIBULON has invested USD 8.6 million.
The main advantages of the new machinery are high capacity, minimal fuel consumption with maximum productivity, and improved comfort for machine operators. Due to this, the field works were completed in the best possible terms. Despite all the freaks of nature (very short spring with high temperatures, precipitation), the pace of their performance has remained at the level of past years.
That’s not all our achievements about which we are ready to tell you. Read our next news about the company’s records achieved in 2018.
