Relay of Anniversaries: We Congratulate “Maryanivs’ka” Branch

In 2009 NIBULON started implementation of the investment project to revive the Dnipro and the Southern Bug Rivers as transport waterways of Ukraine. The project provided for construction of a network of elevator complexes, transshipment terminals, and own fleet. Poltava region was one of the key regions where the project was spread the most. The region required reliable, stable and transparent investors – NIBULON’s initiatives were supported by the local authorities and by the inhabitants. According to NIBULON’s General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, the decision to construct a network of elevators in Poltava region was nonrandom, “NIBULON is a leader in Ukraine’s agrarian sector, Poltava region in one of the leaders in agricultural commodity production in Ukraine. Thus, the leaders have united in order to show an example of funds investment in Ukraine’s agricultural sector. Investment in the agricultural sector is a locomotive of the state’s economy. A solemn putting into operation of the elevator complex of “Maryanivs’ka” branch was held with participation of Oleksandr Udovychenko, the head of Poltava Regional State Administration, on October 9, 2010. Poltava region got the additional grain storage capacities, and the local agrarians managed to be entities of foreign economic activity supplying agricultural commodity to people of different countries. “The company’s arrival in Grebinkivka district of Poltava region became a pleasant stress for the local community”, recollects Yevgeniy Babych, the branch director, “Firstly, our plan to construct the elevator aroused suspicion: people are used to thinking that construction works last for several years. We promised to build this elevator within three months. Since commencement of construction works Maryanivka village returned to life! The process of construction, quantity of machinery caused a real admiration. When the construction was coming to end, there were carried out bright lighting and asphalt, people came to see the fantastic facility looking spectacularly at night. Today our branch is a real cultural center for the inhabitants”. The high-tech complex for simultaneous storage of 77.8 thousand tons of grain and oil crops was created in a short period of time. High technology allows the branch to take up to 4 thousand tons of agricultural products per day and ship up to 4 thousand tons at the same time. “Due to fruitful cooperation of our team, in the current marketing year there has already been taken 155 thousand tons of products and that is by 28 thousand tons more in comparison with the analogous period of 2012”, tells Yuriy Gulenko, a senior foreman. The current marketing year has not finished yet, but Yuriy is ready to give quite an optimistic forecast, “We aim at taking 200 thousand tons. In the coming years we are going to take 250 thousand tons of products when the elevator will be modernized and the third high-productive dryer will be installed!” Oleksandr Trohymets, a document control economist of trading and purchasing activities, shares his own success, “Due to well coordinated work of the team, within three years the branch has become one of the leaders in procurement of agricultural products among NIBULON’s branches.”The main advantage of the branch, according to Oleksandr, is operability, “I do not want to underestimate the role of other colleagues, the staff constitutes a whole and can be compared with clockwork. The key features of our staff are responsibility of each worker and constant self-improvement”. Most workers have their own examples to be followed. Olga Yakubovska, a lab technician, considers Nadiya Leonova, a deputy head of the production and technological laboratory, to be such an example, “She (Nadiya Leonova) managed to come to an understanding with all laboratory employees and to gain our respect. Her knowledge and skills are an excellent example for the young workers. Nadiya Leonova regularly provides instruction, organizes seminars improving our professional skills.” For most employees NIBULON became the first workplace as the company always stakes on the youth. The company is a peculiar guide for the recent graduates to determine the first workplace after graduating from the university. “It is my first place of work and I would like to assure that it will be hard to find such conditions for the professional development. In other companies it is hard to move up the job ladder (according to my college friends), whereas in NIBULON the situation is quite opposite. There is a perspective to be advanced or transferred. The company cares of the youth. Our team is highly qualified and answers professional questions thoroughly”, he mentions. Not only work but also leisure time unites our friendly team. “We lead an active way of life, have a rest together. For three years the branch has its football team that participates in the district football contests. This year we are going to present NIBULON in the All-Ukrainian championship of the sports society “Kolos”. Both men and women are engaged in playing football at out branch! We hold inner volley-ball and tennis competitions”, tells Maryna Vlasenko, an accountant. The most important thing for the branch and NIBULON is a social policy. Before putting into operation the elevator complex, NIBULON started to provide assistance to Grebinkivka district. For example, the local budget received above UAH 2.4 mln from a land plot sale under the facility construction. The funds were spent on the society problems. In particular, there were repaired a house of culture, a kindergarten and a pump station; there were laid 1800 m of new pipeline and replaced almost 2 km of old one; 1.5 km of illuminated road were laid; the local medical and obstetric center was provided with gas and hot water. The village school received furniture and IT classroom. In 2012 due to NIBULON’s funds (almost 72 thousand tons) the district house of culture and village school received furniture and Mar’yanivka kindergarten – a children’s playground. Yevgeniy Babych, the director, is responsible for well coordinated work and the branch presentation in the district. He enjoys respect among his employees keeping the principles of team spirit and equality. “It is our director who managed to form the staff in such a way, so that all employees cooperate integrally. We do not just work together, we are the family. Yevgeniy Babych has authority with us, he can be asked for advice. He never loses contact with the workers. He is an active player of our football team”, mentions Oleksandr Gavrylenko, a tractor driver. *** Today “Maryanivs’ka” branch celebrates its birthday. NIBULON’s personnel headed by General Director Oleksiy Vadaturskyy congratulate the employees of the branch and wish them new professional and production achievements! We are proud of you!

Андрій Вадатурський став генеральним директором «НІБУЛОНу» після понад 15 років роботи в компанії — в липні 2022 року.

Він прийняв цю посаду після трагічної загибелі свого батька та засновника «НІБУЛОНу» Олексія Вадатурського разом із матір’ю Раїсою Вадатурською під час російського ракетного удару по їхньому дому в Миколаєві.

З 2014 до 2019 рік був народним депутатом України від одномандатного округу в Миколаївській області та членом Комітету з питань аграрної політики. У 2017 році створив і очолив велику міжпартійну групу, яка виступала за розвиток українських річок як транспортного засобу.  

Має ступінь магістра електротехніки Українського державного морського технічного університету та ступінь магістра економіки промисловості Лондонської школи економіки. У 2009 році за вагомий внесок у розвиток агропромислового комплексу України був нагороджений Президентом України, йому присвоєно звання «Заслужений працівник сільського господарства».

Одружений, має трьох дітей.
