2008 changed Tyutyunnyky village life irreversibly. Before that time in the village there lived only pensioners, the youth left Tyutyunnyky village in order to maintain their family or to find a better life. There was no work in the destroyed farms, rental payment was paid in grain containing weed or was not paid at all, recollect the villagers. Valeriy Pavlyuk who worked in the collective farm under the direction of Dmytro Lonskyy, Hero of Socialist Labour, saw how productive livestock farms, fields, gardens and hothouses were ruining from year to year, “Farming was on its knees, people lost faith in future. Investors promised a lot but only NIBULON was able to evoke trust”. Petro Zapletnyuk is a constant director of “Chudnivs’ka” branch. He started to work in “Khmil’nyk” branch in Vinnytsya region, where he worked as a chief agronomist. In 2008 he was in charge of NIBULON’s new branch in Zhytomyr region. “We started from the easiest things”, recollects Petro Zapletnyuk, “We cut down trees and bushes, prepared non-ploughed fields. New machinery started to operate here. Old machinery did not operate and was disassembled. In each village we placed announcements where we offered the inhabitants a job”. “On NIBULON’s coming everything has changed for better”, says Mykola Cherepanskyy, a chief agronomist, “We started to use new technologies of land cultivation and plant attendance. Today our branch is one of the best in the region. Every year the director and his team are awarded with diploma of the administration of agro-industrial development of Chudnivka Regional State Administration and the Regional Council”. “Chudnivs’ka” branch is one of the leaders among NIBULON’s branches. Last year the branch took the first place in harvest of late crops. Under the leadership of Mykola Cherepanskyy there work four young agronomists, “We support, train, educate future chief agronomists”. Andriy Plohotnyuk came to work for NIBULON after his studies. He has been working for a year. The company provided the recent graduate not only with deserved working conditions and high wage but also with an accommodation. The young agronomist has quite ambitious goals, “NIBULON is a company where the youth can reach success by working persistently. I try to follow an example of Petro Zapletnyuk, our director. In 10-15 years I want to absorb knowledge and experience in order to run the branch in the same way”. “Working with the youth it is necessary to be not only a specialist but also a teacher”, tells Tamara Menkivska, a chief accountant, “We achieve our success together, the branch is appreciated both in the district and by the company”. There are a lot of young people at the branch. Oleksiy Tsurkan, a chief engineer, graduated from Lugansk National Agrarian University in 2006. His first workplace was NIBULON’s branch in Snigurivka district of Mykolayiv region. In Tyutyunnyky village he started to work as a chief engineer, “NIBULON is the best start for a recent graduate. I like to operate new reliable machinery being in the team of professionals”. “I appreciate my colleagues, first of all, for their persistence and adherence to principles”, says Petro Zapletnyuk, the branch director, “Only here, while working in the field, you understand the meaning of a phrase “a spring day feeds a year”. Each specialist is an integral part of the team, each one is a pride, as everyone performs his duties perfectly. It is pleasant when our workers are held up as an example at general meetings”. The branch staff participates in district volley-ball and football contests taking prize-winning places. The employees created their own brass band to play during important events of the village. NIBULON presented Tyutyunnyky village with a new life and returned its heroic glory. Having revived agriculture, the company traditionally renewed infrastructure of the district. Annually, the company allocates funds for the territory beautification, repair of schools, kindergartens, clubs, and hospitals, organization of solemn events and sports competitions of Tyutyunnyky, Turchynivka, Pyatkivka, Rudnya-Gorodyschens’ka, Rachkivka and Krasne village councils, which villagers entrusted NIBULON with their shares. In 2012 NIBULON initiated signing of social partnership agreements with these village councils for the total amount of above UAH 73.6 thousand. These funds were directed to repair of schools, assistance to kindergartens, gasification and lighting of villages. The 5th anniversary since “Chudnivs’ka” branch foundation is an important date not only for NIBULON but also for many villages of Chudnivka district.
